Sony's is a great local bar for good food and a beer. Very friendly Staff and Sonny is always there to tell you about his life and adventures. Must go local gem.

It's a small town, big menu, Southern Diner. If you want fancy don't come here. If you want great food it's solid.

Love being right on the beach with the beautiful ocean breeze blowing the straw out of your lips, causing a mist of ocean water to cascade over all at the table. I love mother nature and the ironies it present us. I also love the Post. The best place to eat and drink. good quality, reasonable price for the location. Best place in Galveston.
Awesome place! Like going back in time. The owner is a hoot. He is 91 and puts in a full day up there every day.Best Muffaletta I have ever had. Burgers are great too. We ate there every day on our trip. It was that good.
As usual,every November. The oysters come into season. And Sonny's is the local place to go. They fill up a frozen mug to the top and add delicious homemade cocktail sauce. And the Muffaletta is the best on the island. Better than Maceo's.
First time having muffaleta and wow it was fantastic. Also had a cup of gumbo and it was excellent. Would definitely eat here again. Nice atmosphere too
Not much beer selection, but has all the classic Texas staples. Not a problem tho, what'd you expect from a place like Sonny's. Old school vibe, with food as delicious as its always been.
