Decided on a hot fudge sundae the other day. On the menu it says I can add nuts to my sundae if I asked. So, I asked. The guy replied that they don't have nuts for sundaes. I pointed out that in said if I wanted nuts on the sundae I just needed to ask. He paused and then told me that "they don't serve nuts". After my wife and I gained composure again ?, I went ahead and got my sundae without the nuts, of course.
Year and half after I moved here, and still the worst sonic I've ever been to! Why spend money on new convering and screens if you still have to use the drive thru? Why am I pushing a button and waiting on response just to be told to go thru drive thru? Put up a sign that says drive thru only already! Sheesh and get the orders right for once!
I always order using the Sonic app--so much simpler & easier to customize your order. I'm a huge fan of Sonic ice, and the ice at this location was AWESOME!! It was different than the kind I get back home (Mckinney, Texas). It didn't take long to get my order, but I only ordered ice and a drink. The only drawback was the maneuvering to get into the lot of this Sonic, felt like a tight squeeze to get to an open parking spot. Other than that, I would definitely come back for the ice when I'm on the Island again.
Nothing but disappointment. Make SURE to check your order before you leave with it, because I PROMISE there will be things wrong

It had been years since we visited a Sonic, so while visiting Galveston we needed a quick lunch. Average at best. Wife's burger was pretty good, but thats about it. We probably will not be back.
To the lady on night shift 1/25/2022, I hope your poor work ethic finally catches up to you. Hiding inside a bathroom so you dont have to do anything is a real classy move. Already had bad experiences with sonic, but this was just the nail in the coffin. Ordering through the app is a bad idea becuase you will be out your money and have no food to show for it. Calling the credit card company to dispute charges definitely gives you time to think good thoughts while on hold. Please value your time and allow this business to go under to make way for something better.
No mobile orders accepted through the app at this location. Overcrowded and I wanted to order thru the app and be able to avoid all that. They also do not have Big Macs here. No burrito supreme.
I got the extra crunchy BLT sandwich & it was so awesome! It tasted so yummy & with the crunchy lettuce & ripe tomatoes it was the bomb...loved it so much..!!
STAY AWAY! THIS SONIC SUCKS. IVE NEVER BEEN THERE THAT THERE WASN’T A PROBLEM!Only 6 cars there waiting on orders.I Ordered a Rt 44 drink via app. Arrived, pulled into my stall and pressed the red button to let them know I was there. 20 minute I waited and no drink. Pressed the red button again at the stall and the person that answered was rude and hung up. 10 more minute went buy and no drink. This Sonic stole my money, and never delivered a drink. I finally left.
