My husband and I went to Sonic yesterday. The service was very slow. My husband ordered a m&m blast. What he got was a large cup of vanilla ice cream with a few m&Ms sprinkled on top. Very disappointed. Also, this is not the first time we have had a bad experience. This is just the first time I decided to let everyone know. I would not recommend this Sonic to anyone.
They screwed up my order. I pacificly said on the app no tomato, lettuce and ketchup plus no slice of cheese. Only mayo and shredded cheese. After I got there, I went the online order app to check in. Was told that the carhop Maria was on her way out. I waited 10 minutes no food yet. While I was waiting a skinny black loud woman came out and was hollering for no reason. I walked in the food station and asked where my food was. Then I was told that it was almost ready. Had to wait another 5 minutes for my food. I would never recommend anyone to go to that Sonic on 51st Street and Broadway especially at night and on the weekends. Their employees especially the 3 black employees and the Mexican girl named Maria were very rude. I called to complain bout my order and Maria plus the loud mouth skinny black woman started screaming into the phone at me.
The employees were too busy participating in a drag race therefore the gal messed up our order. We only ordered drinks and she missed the first 3 we ordered. The gal that was the car hop got us the other drinks and didn't change us for them because not only was our order wrong, we had to wait for the car race to end to get our stuff. Also, several of the ordering mechanisms and credit card swippers were not working. Love Sonic up this one in particular needs work.
This place is terrible. Several of the order areas are out of order and you have to pull into each one to see the tape stating out of order (very professional). The staff was super rude and hung up on me several times. When I got to where I was going and mentioned the service to the group I was with they all said the same. No wonder it was nearly empty at dinner rush. Avoid this place
I can clearly say this is the most horrible Sonic i’ve ever gone to. On my visit right now as I was ordering this woman was screaming at me for no reason, I let it go and continued my order. As I was paying she told me my total I was giving her the cash and she slammed the window on my face and didn’t take my money. I was so fed up and drove away I cannot believe how disrespectful she was! I even took pictures of her hopefully this gets somewhere very horrible experience.
Tried to place order and very rude lady said "Drive through only" we didn't understand her so said excuse me? Again, Drive through only. So to clarify said we can't order here? Same reply- Drive through only. No other words no explanation- just "drive through only" even though all the other cars were getting orders not at the drive through. So we left, and definitely won't go back.
We had ordered drinks thru the app. We checked in when we arrived. After about 10 minutes, the sign that had said our order was on the way changed and said thank you (like we had gotten our order which we had not gotten). We sat there another few minutes wondering what the deal was but thinking maybe they were on their way out with our drinks but after a while it became obvious that was not the case as they delivered food, drinks and desserts to several cars that arrived after us. We activated the red button to ask about the status of our 2 drinks. The guy who answered said that only the drive thru was open as we sat and watched them steadily delivering orders to stalls around us. We asked if we needed to go to the drive thru window to get our drinks. He finally said we just were gonna have to wait and someone would bring them in a little while. We had no choice except to stay and wait since we had already paid when we ordered thru the app. Eventually a girl delivered our drinks when she came out to deliver a large food order to a car beside us that had only arrived a few minutes before. She seemed pretty friendly but unfortunately she did not get a tip from us because we were too aggravated about how we were treated so far. This is the first time I can think of that my sister has not tipped a server at Sonic. If you knew my sister you would understand how terrible the experience was to justify not tipping. We love Sonic drinks but we won't make the mistake of going to this one on Broadway in Galveston again.
We’ve been by twice and I just wanna say, THANK YOU FOR NOT BEING STINGY WHEN WE ADD EXTRAS. I love getting a water and putting double mango and double strawberry in it. Almost everywhere I go, I basically get water with a *hint* of fruit, despite paying $1.60 for the strawberries and $.80 for the mango (this location didn’t charge for the magi on the app so another WIN) I wanna taste it. I want the strawberry to get stuck in the straw. It almost never fails that my water sucks. But here???? Oh my word, I’ll perfection. The taste is magnificent, and I definitely get the extras I paid for. Whoever makes my waters here, mind coming back to my hometown and telling these people how it’s done?
Who lets you do an online order(at the stall) sit at your stall for 17 minutes & then say it's on its way for you to then push the button for them to say get in the Drive-Thru line Kimberly that who!! The worst!! VALERIE is the absolute best but everyone needs days off!! Kimberly need customer service help immediately!!! Rude & disrespectful!!!
Fast and friendly at a very busy time of the day as well as having cars in drive-thru constantly pulling in and full parking lot.
