Really enjoyed our visit to Shrimp n Stuff. Since it was our first time, my husband and I split the seafood platter so we could try a bit of everything and boy, was that a good decision! The food was excellent, especially the crab balls and stuffed shrimp. My niece had the catfish fillets which were huge and super flaky and tender. I would absolutely eat here again without a second thought!

A long time ago we used to live in Galveston, and Shrimp and Stuff was our favorite place to eat seafood. I don’t get back into Galveston very often but, when I do, I always try to stop in for a meal. People tell me that all of the seafood dishes are excellent, but I’ve never gotten past the shrimp po’boy. It’s very informal; you order at the counter and then pick up your food when it is ready. Wonderful!! Nothing fancy but a fun vibe. The young man at the counter was wonderful and so was our meal! We had fried shrimp for our lunch & key lime pie for dessert. We sat outside and everything was so enjoyable! One of our favorite meals on vacation. Would recommend and hope to return. If you are looking for some yummy seafood this is a great little place.
We visit Shrimp N Stuff every single time we go to Galveston. The food is always awesome. This time we got the fried shrimp, fried catfish, and catfish balls. The fries were good, but the onion rings were great. Wasn’t a huge fan of the “spicy potatoes” (they are not spicy) or the bean relish. But that’s not why we go here. This is a must visit if you go to Galveston!!
We dropped in to Shrimp N Stuff for an evening bite. the place was not very crowded. You walk in, place your order, grab your paging device and grab a table. when it goes off, grab your food and enjoy. I had the Fish Tacos and hush-puppies. The food was quite nice and very fresh. I hope to see you there next time I am in town.
We found Shrimp & Stuff when looking for a casual spot for seafood while visiting Galveston. This location did not disappoint as everything we ever eat here is delicious and perfectly prepared. We typically opt for fried catfish, fried shrimp and share our sides of hushpuppies, fries or onion rings and slaw. We enjoy the laid back patio dining or we take it "to-go" and sit by the ocean for a seafood picnic. The puppies have a touch of jalepeno, not too spicy, just a kick to know there is a little pepper in there. Tartar sauce is very tasty too! Lot of options with another location downtown that offers other items and a food truck in Jamaica Beach too.
Went to Galveston for the first time in almost a year. Stopped by this place on a recommendation from my girlfriend. Place was bumping when we walked in. Atmosphere was endemic to what Galveston represents. Ordered the dinner platter with 2 pieces of cat fish. 4 coconut shrimp. 3 hush puppies and french fries and 3 boiled potatoes. I ordered an extra piece of catfish(for 1 dollar) thinking it wasn't enough(big mistake) portions were sufficient for a kings feast. Enjoyed every piece of food on the platter. Finished everything except for the 3rd piece of catfish. Recommend this place for lunch as the food is heavy and hits the spot. Try it. It's amazing.
Reasonable affordable lunch. Shrimp, fries and hush puppies are really good. Staff is friendy. They now have an outdoor eating area!
Always a solid meal here. My favorite sea food spot for fried shrimp and catfish by far. The boudin balls are great too. Highly recommend it!!
