Wish I got the tacos!!! They looked amazing! Great prices and food quality. I got the catfish basket that also comes with a side. Super yummy and good potion. Our server was very sweet????
Great prices, only place I could find on vacation that is $25 and under for 2. The food was amazing, I've had this on my list to visit since I planned my vacation. Definitely worth a visit and it's not far from the State Park where we stayed! Small dinning area inside but you get the small town feeling when your there. Food took little under 20 mins but they were busy with lots of take out orders and about half the tables were full of people. Great friendly staff that made sure my food was ready ,on time ,and all in order. I will return to this restaurant again before my trip is over and will recommend to everyone that is coming to Galveston!
Service and food were wonderful!! Jackie was very helpful and so friendly! We had stuffed avocado, personal pizza, shrimp po boy (bread was excellent and shrimp too), and more!
We live in Galveston and have eaten here several times. The first couple times it was okay. The last few times we have ordered food the quality is bad. Anything with fries includes only a few fries. A giant shrimp po boy is all bread. Only a few shrimp. We add extra cheese to the nachos, so that is all we get is extra cheese and brisket, and they eliminate all other ingredients that were to come with it. This same thing happened the last time. 11 front fries is what comes with the 3 chicken strip meal. Very disappointed. Wasted more money her than we should have. I hope they get their quality in check. I do not recommend.
I’m going to try and find the words to express what an amazing experience we had at this little cafe! We took over the whole place. We didn’t mean to but we had 25 hungry teenagers to feed (and some adults too)! We were all shocked at how quickly they got the food out to us! Thank you guys for your hospitality and delicious food. Everyone was happy with what we ordered and if there were any issues they were taken care of quickly and with a smile! Best service in town. We appreciate you so much and we will be back. Maybe with a smaller crowd next time so they locals can enjoy their spot. ??
Excellent, friendly service. Great food. We will definitely add this spot to our “must eat at” spots. We like to eat local, fresh, good, no fuss. This place fits all our specs. The tacos were outstanding.
Wow! The excellent reviews for Seahorse Grill are absolutely true. Located in a small shopping center, you may not notice it from the road but Seahorse has delicious and fresh options that are absolutely worth trying. The menu is quite varied with seafood, burgers, tacos, and various other items. You can eat in the small dining area or order to go. The shrimp po boy was expertly seasoned and flavorful and the Al pastor street tacos were so tasty. Service was super friendly and fast. We will definitely be back as there are so many items on the menu that look awesome to try.
This is by far the Hidden Gem of Galveston!! We had their fish tacos and the black bean burger and they both were amazing. I've had their burgers before and they were very good as well. They have a fairly large menu that can accommodate many different tastes. Can be busy at times. They do have inside dining but it is fairly small. My wife doubted me before she ordered from there due to it being next to a liquor store and other seedy establishments...lol...but she loved her meal there and no doubting anymore!!
Delicious catfish, shrimp and gumbo. Staff was super helpful and friendly both times we visited. We noticed they also did brisk takeout business, which we utilized on our 2nd visit. I like a company that successfully takes care of both sets of customers and makes them feel appreciated.
We were looking for somewhere nice to eat in Galveston. However, most places full. Based in a recommendation we tried the Seahorse grill. The restaurant is found in a small strip mall towards the west of the island. Only seats about twenty. We had a variety of food. Green enchiladas and the prawns/fish were both excellent and very reasonably priced. I rate this the best restaurant we ate while in Galveston and an excellent price! Very family friendly.
