The food was pretty good, but the wait was long. However, it was a beach town on a summer Friday nignt, so I can't complain..

Our last night in Galveston we wanted to make sure we got some Mexican food. We ended up here and it was superb! Ton of unique margaritas that were all delicious! Had a house margarita for happy hour while we waited for a table and it was great as well. Our waiter was probably the best out of our whole week in TX! So nice, helpful and speedy. The restaurant was packed and we were waited on like it was hardly busy. Clearly a very well-run restaurant. I got the enchilada trio and I have to say, all red enchilada sauce tasted the same, but not theirs! It was SO good! I’d come back here often if I lived here!

The service was great. Seated right away and had a drink with chips. The lunch special was not quite as expected. Chicken chunks wrapped in a tortilla was not what I thought would come out. The salsa was great though the pico was a bit wilted. Food kinda sad today. Maybe just an off day. Would give it a go just to see if it can be better.

I've tried several restaurants in the last week. This was the best hands down. As everyone said, the chips and salsa are fantastic. Margaritas were fantastic and most of all, I enjoyed the fajitas. Beef fajitas very tender and flavorful. I'd like to try their marinade recipe with a little char grill flavor. Red enchilada sauce might need some tweaking. Anyway, pretty good stuff. Exceptionally good food and service. Thanks Jay! Met Miranda and she's lovely. One more thing, I believe that due to the area that you are in, the prices could be raised by 35 to 50% and you wouldn't lose any business at all. Some of your competitors are substantially higher and lack the wow factor that you have. Great job kitchen, servers and management.

We stopped by Salsa’s after a beach day. The food was delicious, the margaritas were awesome, and the service was great!

Go to Salsa’s go to Salsa’s! Don’t hesitate, don’t think about it, this is a must stop while in Galveston. The chips and salsa are incredible, the service is fantastic, but the Bronco enchiladas is the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. The perfectly cooked steak along with the sauce in the bronco enchilada is second to none. Great atmosphere with a great view of the beach sends it next level.

Been coming here for years. They always have great food, staff, atmosphere and prices. The best Mexican restaurant in Galveston!

I ordered chicken enchiladas with SOUR CREAM SAUCE.....I get chicken enchiladas with CHILI CON QUESO....I send it back....then the waiter shows up with an attitude and proceeds to give me a lesson on chicken enchiladas....I have worked at TWO Mexican Cafes.....so please do NOT try to school someone TWICE your age about Mexican / Tex Mex food.....

Went in on a Friday night super packed. To the owner rename the Nuevo Leon Shrimp to Nuevo Leon Onions. Waitress wasn't focused. Asked for a michelada (Corona) just got the beer. Asked her 2 more times then finally got the michelada. Flour tortillas smell like plastic. House margarita was just ok so didn't order another one I usually take 2 or 3. I had ordered a dish that had shrimp, I didn't want the Chipotle sauce because I'm allergic. Shrimp were under cooked (rubbery)and came with the Chipotle sauce that I can't eat. By the time the fixed my order the bland tortillas got hard and cold yuck. Regret getting this dish at bottom full of onions it seems it is full of savory shrimp , green sauce and cheese but its not they put half an onion (grilled)or more I do mean a lot no joke . Me and my family wasted $150 for an ok Mexican dinner not authentic for my taste.

We were picking between a few Mexican options on the sea wall and selected Salsas because of the shrimp cocktail on the menu. The green salsa was delicious and chips were hot and fresh. Service was fast and all of our meals were good portion sizes and great tasting. The mariachi band playing was an added bonus!
