Only the best place ‘round here to get quality ice cream. And when I’m in the mood for something else, their vast variety of Italian Ice flavours always hit the spot. I love that they’re on the Seawall and it’s a quick drive / walk to get delicious cold sweets!
Lady who served me was fast and efficient. Pleasant to deal with. We got two concrete custard cups. The prices are a bit high but the treats are definitely worth it.I make it a point to come here every time I'm in town. I love pretty much everything on the menu.
We came to Galveston for our honeymoon and tried Rita’s. My wife had the mango ice and vanilla custard and I had the strawberry and mango ice mixed! They were fantastic!!! So refreshing on a warm day and the service was excellent! If we come back to Galveston we’re going to Rita’s for sure!!!

Great place across the street from the beach! Loved taking the kids here and it was a nice break for everyone. Really loved the custard, it's so rich! I had the orange Italian ice with the custard. I forget what they called it, but it was the best version of an orange dreamcicle I've had.
Stopped here for dessert after dinner next door. They have a good selection of ice cream and frozen drinks. Also soft ice cream with changing flavors. Staff is very friendly.
The black cherry itialian ice wasn't too sweet, it was just right. It also had real chunks of cherry and that's all I need to really say, it was awesome.
Always a treat that my daughter can’t live without. Anytime we are doing a trip to the beach she doesn’t feel it’s complete without “that ice place”Sad that they lost the starburst strawberry flavor. Also, on todays trip I found a hair in my ice. That’s a bummer.
We love Rita's in Galveston! The owner and staff are always friendly! This has been our tradition to stop here while in Galveston for the last 13 years! We live close to the one in the Heights and have only been to that one once. This is our go-to-place for great custard!
Love this place!! I’ve come to Galveston during the summer the last three years and have to stop here every time, it’s become a tradition! So so yummy and great treat to have after spending time on the beach and in the sun!
