The cashier that took my order was great at taking my order repeating it and getting it right and very friendly (her name was Dee) she is awesome need more like her
Today, Sunday May 22, 2022, the dining room was closed with no note on the door. I went to the drive through. 25 minutes after waiting and watching 2 cars ahead of me place their orders and receive them; I hadn't even been greeted at the speaker. i drove off without ordering knowing that if the workers inside manage the slightly busy drive through; could they manage their abilities to follow the correct cleanliness and cooking procedures.
First off I wanna say.. These poor people were under staffed and to be pitied. The food was good. But the bathroom was honesty awful..I will spare you the details. The wait was 30-40 min. And they weren't crazy busy. There were ants on some booths, even though this is Southeast Texas and they come with the territory, it was bad enough we decided to take the food and not eat in there. They got the order wrong and forgot to put in sides outright. But we had already drove off so didn't go back. Portion was off. It was a mess. But the people there were trying to do all they could. I don't blame them
Ordered via app. Got there and people were clamoring for refunds due to no orders being filled. Folks were having to go back to work without eating lunch. My order wasn't even started until I mentioned I had an on-line order. Staff was polite but food was not going out. No mild chicken ready, no fries ready, other meal components not ready. I emailed Popeyes corporate for a refund and couldn't believe they gave me one within an hour of my email so good job from them. I won't order from this location again unless I have a half hour to kill.
Best place to eat and the manager and cook really help me so much. I told the manager I was having trouble with my car and I was just here on vacation, she asked her cook if he cold maybe help and he did and I'm beyond blessed. He did. Thank you Popeys on 61st street in Galveston. And they were very polite and most of all clean and good delicious. God bless them.
Ordered a mobile [email protected] 545 to be ready at 620. Got an email it would be ready by 623. Stood in line for 10mins to then be told it would be 15 additional mins because they had no nuggets.Manager said "well your bad you waiting on nuggets." Totally unorganized, unprofessional and no care or concern for customers. Even how they speak to each other is out of line. Complete disappointment. Honestly, told my kids this place was a mistake. Still waiting at 645.. now manager informed a customer she already gave her her order and called her a liar. Yea.. NO I've been standing with her the entire time. Now manager told a customer.."I know what I read don't tell me nothin"??what a joke! 655..we have food. Didn't even wait to see if it's right cuz I'm over it
I worked in a place just like this for 16 years. This place was clean the service was great and the food was delicious! I haven't tasted a better Popeyes yet!. If you are in Galveston please stop by this Popeyes! I am a chicken lover and this place rocks! Very friendly service personnel also! Thank you for making my trip to Galveston so enjoyable!
Drive thru takes forever! Waiting over 5 mins at the speaker waiting to order. Then she tells me she would be with me in a moment…while no one else was in the drive they.
Restaurant couldn’t locate order in system upon arrival. Was told to wait out of line for 5 minutes or until order came in. After 30 minutes, order was finally located by cashier and then I proceeded to wait an additional 10 minutes for food. No apology for inconvenience was issued from either from cashier or manager. Completely unprofessional business practice and not to mention, the manager only wore her mask over half her face while preparing orders for patrons
I come through to pick up an order and the guy standing at the door, refused to let me in when they were clearly open, so I went back out to my car drove up to the window and the guy at the window told me to pull up, the food is now going an 1 hour late. I understand they may be short staffed, but I have worked in the food industry and know how to properly handle these situations and this is unprofessional. I will be calling the corporate office. I am not happy with the customer service here, I refuse to ever come back.
