‼️⚠️PLEASE DON'T GO HERE, LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS ABOUT THIS PLACE⚠️‼️I put 1 star because the food here wasn't good the crabs i was gonna eat was cold and mushy (it shouldn't be mushy people can end up sick from that) most of the food was cold. Me and my family ended up with FOOD POISONING because of the horrible food they served the food is supposed to be edible not inedible if i have to pay I'd like to pay for something I'd ACTUALLY enjoy ...and they didn't have any plastic gloves to use for grabbing the tongs there wasn't much variety of food either and the price was EXPENSIVE...for one plate it would cost $22 plus tax with drink my dad confronted the cashier that the food was expensive and wasn't even good and the waitress just laughed and ignored him and told him to just pay..the waitress was very rude to my mom too, my mom would ask questions about the food and the waitress would ignore her and try getting close with my dad...i really would not want people coming here to eat even if you're hungry and just for a quick meal just drive somewhere else this is NOT the place to eat in they seem to be cooking every food and frying them with the same oil which is not got it's unhygienic and nasty ?
Horrible experience!!! We arrived 30 minutes before lunch buffet price ended. By the time we finished eating 1 hr. Later, We were charged the dinner price because we didn't finish eating before dinner time. (Hosts words exactly) Then we only had 5, my husband and 3 kids, and they automatically charged me 15% gratuity on my ticket. 5 people for lunch cost me 110.00!!!! I used to eat there every year we were in galveston, but I will NEVER give them my business again!!
Tried years ago but really disappointing so thought I'd give it another chance. Food always cold and place is dirty. They sat us at a table that had a hot sauce bottle completely empty with the lid missing, table are grungie too. Well never be back. If you want great hot Chinese food, try Yummy Yummy in Texas City.
If I could give this place a zero I would. Food was mediocre. Dry, felt like it had been sitting there forever. The waitress was more interested in flirting with a guy there. Her serviced sucked. Did not tip. Won't be back.
This place was absolutely horrible. My husband and I came to eat with our kids. 2 adult buffet and 3 kids buffet and 3 kid drinks and they charged us $90.. they had added the tip without our permission. Food was cold and dried out. Had to ask them to make fresh fries for my kids. They charge dinner prices in the middle of the afternoon.. seriously uncalled for. Never eat there again
There was some stuff they looked old and dry but it was good what I did choose to eat ..ppl were very nice
Food was cold, hard and obviously not fresh. I couldn't bite into my chicken or crab puff. On top of that it was $38 for two people. I'll never step foot in this place again. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant. Health officials should really look into it.
To start: Upon entering the front doors we were hit with a strong bad fish smell although it dissipated as we approached the food area. This was a Sunday lunch, so I wasn't too bothered with the higher price tag. I also don't usually eat buffets since I can't get my money's worth!A majority of the food we tried was either overcooked, dried out, or completely tasteless. Seems they rely on the "sauce" and don't season. Won Ton soup smelled like rancid oil. Tasted like it as well.It cost me 38 bucks for something that was inedible. I really hate that I don't have ANYTHING good to say about the food.However, the staff is friendly and I felt bad giving the young lady at the register with the "full Monty" once she asked me "how was everything?"This place didn't even deserve photos. Just Nasty!
We went here about a year ago and it was decent. We came back to Galveston and decided to go back to PE King. We noticed the parking lot was empty and decided to look up the reviews. BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ. We went around 6:00 Pm on a Friday night. The food had obviously been sitting there. From my guess probably since lunch. I went to get some pizza for my picky daughter and it was burned into the pan. Every thing was hard and dried out. We completely ignored the smell when we walked in. It smelled like rotting food. We left and avoided food poisoning probably. Don't go here.
First-Time eating here. IThe lunch buffet was a bit pricey,even for spring break, it smells like old mop water, my cup was dirty, very humid, there weren't any condiments on the table, The food was very cold. This place needs major improvements if you want anyone eating there for 20 bucks and a tip, which I didn't give one because no one checked on me.
