I am surprised at how high the ratings are for this restaurant.We visited about 2 months ago and the food was not that great- it really wasn'tWe went in the morning, kids had pancakes- they were extremely dried and our other dishes just didn't have the flavor we expect it to have (Menudo, Barbacoa Plate, Huevos A La Mexicana, Huevos Rancheros) . From the outside this looks like something I would expect good old homemade grandma/momma's food-- but the failed to meet our expectation.Sorry won't be visiting again.Service was great though, the ladies were really nice, just the food wasn't really all that great.
I've been coming here for breakfast for years, and the food and service is authentically amazing, every time. The barbacoa and huevos rancheros are perfect. The homemade flour tortillas though... Just WOW! We always look forward to coming here!
I don’t know how this place received good ratings. Tried it for the first time. Portions are very small higher prices than other places I’ve ate at. Salsa had no seasoning, just tasted like can of diced tomatoes. Left there with a bad feeling stomach. I did not want to even give one star rating. ??

The barbacoa breakfast is awesome ?! Try thier burritos, you can't gi wrong if you're really hungry!
It was my first time in Galveston with family and my brother has told me there are some great Mexican foods in Texas. This place has the best foods I've ever tasted, their rice and beans was sooo delicious! Very fairly price and awesome foods. My son loves their chicken quesedilla ? Definitely worth to try if you want some awesome homemade Mexican foods!

Absolutely fantastic place to grab some authentic Mexican food. Amazing menudo, tortillas are bomb, micheladas hit the spot. That's all ya need!
