Hostess and wait staff very friendly, drinks came out quick. Food took a while but they were super busy and had many to go order s as well. Can't knock that as waitress would come by, update us and take drink orders. My husband said his burger was really good and I got the pecan crusted red snapper stuffed, with Ponchartrain sauce, green beans and okra. All very good and I got three meals out of it. Shrimp kisses we're delicious. Plus a great view of the sunset.

Great little place to eat. We split the seafood combo plate with oysters, shrimp, crab rolls and catfish. It was cooked very well and good portion for two people. Not sure about the crab rolls. They needed work though. Stephanie the bartender where we ate was wonderful, attentive, polite and very efficient. I didn’t give 5-stars because the fly situation wasn’t great and that does bother me. All around a great visit when on that part of the island.

We were referred tp Nate's by my brother who lives in the area. Let me start by saying the service was phenomenal from our server, to the hostess, and even the cook was awesome and delivered exceptional customer service. The only reason for the 3 star rating, is the food was just not very good. We ordered everything fried on the server's recommendation, and it was either over cooked and/or cold. We rarely eat deep fried food anyway. The presentation was nice. And the cook was awesome and apologized for the wait and noted he was the only one cooking for a huge crowd. Get this man some help! :)

A delightful, local seafood eatery in Jamaica Beach. Get all of your local seafood desires met. Steak fries were meh, but the fried shrimp and boiled shrimp were good. The hamburger was ok, but T he patty melt was better, probably because of the buttery rye and Swiss cheese. Waitstaff was great and the atmosphere was great.

Recently ate here on a not so crowded day and it was pretty good. The staff was friendly and nice , the cool staff even came out to check how the food was and were very friendly. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed it here and would definitely come back.

This place is overall way too small. First off, when we walked in, it was SUPER crowded and small. Then when we were waiting for the lady to actually talk to us and get us on the list, which by the way was about 10 minutes for us to get her to talk to us with nobody waiting, someone came and told me quote “You know, the door opens!” referring to the door to the kitchen. In my mind I was thinking, “Well yes, the door opens, but if I could actually move to get out of the way, I would!”. My point there is you don’t have to be so rude. Could’ve at least said something like “Can you move, please?” in a nice way of course. I just don’t understand how they could have such bad customer service. We never even got to eat.

Located along the Main Street in Galveston. Good food, big portions. Beth was very friendly.Snapper, grilled stuffed shrimp, and oysters were all delightful. We requested grilled rather than fried or blackened.Met the chef who was passing by our table, and we thanked him.

Our family was excited to try this place since we were staying local. What a disappointing experience. We arrived at 5:30 beating the crowd yet... -We were served our food after others came in well after us -A shrimp order was wrong but we were not about to send it back and wait another 45 minutes -My glass of wine never came. I told her to forget about it but with her tone 'well I put the order in, it's right over there'...a glass I wanted to enjoy the 45 minutes I was waiting for my meal...not guzzle as we hurriedly ate to get out of there -Chicken was tough and dry Not an apology for the service or delay or screwups and still added in the gratuity. I spent summers waitressing and I know it can be a killer job. Sadly, covid has ruined many once enjoyable experiences.

We got there about 6:15 on a Tuesday evening, more than half the tables were empty the other tables were already eating their food when we were seated. We waited 15 minutes before anyone even took our drink order, then another 45 minutes before we got our food(apps and entrees at the same time), at that point I was told, I forgot your salad, do you still want it.??‍♀️. Not one time in the 45 minute wait were we spoken to, or asked if we needed drink refills. I even had to go get silverware because they never brought it with our apps. Another local family came in about 15 minutes after us and they got their food before we got our apps, again poor service. When our food finally arrived, we were not expecting much, but much to our surprise the food was good. Boudin balls, Fried oysters, some seafood platter with different shrimp styles, fried shrimp and the oddball chicken fried steak- all very tasty. We will tray again but if customer service is your thing, this place seemed unorganized and not very friendly with the tourists.

Not a lot of restaurants on the West End so this is a good option. It was busy with a short wait. Service was okay but the servers were pretty busy so we waited several times to get her attention. Fish was a little under cooked and chicken fried steak a bit over cooked but both were good. The grilled veggies were good but really “well” done .
