Pretty good place for breakfast. Hubs had the spinach /roasted potato/egg bowl (came w/ sliver of toast). I had the Good ol’ breakfast w/ scrambled eggs (not real eggs) which was disappointing. We don’t eat pork and there weren’t any turkey/Chick options for protein. We shared a pancake and brownie (too gooey, but good homemade flavor). He had OJ and I had water. We paid ~54$. The line getting in was long, but it went by fast since you order at the counter and find your own seating. It was a warm morning they have working fans, but they don’t spin. The bathroom was clean. Over all good experience and gentlemen who took our order was really nice.

It was good for what it is, but it didn’t excite us at all.Vegan Review:We brought our dog and sat in their outdoor area. My husband and I each got the breakfast bowl. I altered mine to make it Vegan. It was really the only vegan option. They kept the breakfast potatoes and sautéed spinach, then replaced everything else with mushrooms, artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, asparagus, and avocado. I was happy. None of it had much flavor but we poured hot sauce all over the top and liked it.

This is a have to eat at little place … it is so peaceful and unique I enjoyed every second I was there … there is a specialty shop inside the restaurant we went after my baby doctors appointment and I was thankful to be eating such good food for my baby … the service is perfect the food out of this world delicious… the bathrooms sanitary and the dinning area spotless for it to be so full of plants and pictures and culture…. The only thing that seemed to be a problem is the fruit flies it’s not the first place and won’t be the last place that the infestation is annoying and that is the only reason it didn’t get 5 stars…. We will for sure visit here again keep up the awesomeness… xoxoxox

Took a group of coworkers to lunch in March and everyone loved their food, went back later in the week with friends and it was great again. Back in April with another friend for brunch and once again, a hit. Always a fave of mine! Had baked brie app one trip, turkey divinity twice and a bacon and brie on Croissant, all delicious. I don't love their update apple pecan salad recipe but tried the Asian noodles for the first time and that was a nice change. My friend lost her mind over the parmesab crisps!! They are amazing!

We went early because I heard it gets busy. There is no table service so ordering can take a very long time. The restaurant is small. Parking is limited. My husband ordered the Crabby Mosquito. A version of Eggs Benedict. It was cold and the crab was not recognizable as crab. Tasteless! After tasting he didn't eat it. I ordered the shrimp and grits with egg. Cold! Only 4 medium shrimp and the shrimp was overcooked. In Galveston, I expected fresh seafood? We will never return. There is a much better restaurant down the street The Sunflower.

This place is great. Probably not a lot of people know about it coming off the ships and hanging around on the strand but they should. We went for breakfast one day on our way to shopping on the Strand and we were not disappointed at all. I had a breakfast bowl and my wife had a Granola and Yogurt bowl. Both were a perfect size and had amazing flavor. There was a line when we got there but it moved quickly. They have seating both in and outside and the people are very freindly. If you are in Galveston go out of the way and get some food here.

A great local cafe with lots of charm. Menu is full of sandwiches, salads, tacos and burgers. Brunch closes at 2. They also have wine. (2 people-no drinks-$30 w tip)Tried the pesto pasta and shrimp tacos and they were both good! The pesto pasta was more of a salad and the tacos were a bit simple but satisfying. The patio was nice and spacious and people even brought their dogs.

I visited based on reviews. To be fair, they have a thoughtful, varied menu. Maybe I visited on an off day. Also I realize staffing shortages are currently an issue. I waited in line to place my order at the counter for 45 minutes. There were stretches of time when the line didn’t move at all. This would perhaps be more understandable if the restaurant wasn’t full of empty tables. I was maybe 15 to 20 people deep in the line. I guess I’m the fool for waiting but I had read good things. I ordered the Mosquito Benedict, which arrived cold. A cold hollandaise sauce isn’t really a winner. Trying to be fair here but their ordering process is truly the slowest I’ve ever encountered. I wish the food had been worth the trouble.

Used the breakfast menu, easy to order, and very friendly staff, clean and nice decor, portions are worth the prices. Hmmm... the over all food taste and how it was made I would consider hit and miss, I would not consider the toast actually toast, very soft and fresh, but not quite toast as most people would consider it, the roasted potatoes had a nice taste and seasoning but slightly undercooked. They absolutely have healthy choices, and I would consider coming back to try other dishes to see how they are. They truly have their own little twists on things that makes it slightly different, I would recommend this place over all.

Very good food and friendly service. This place was recommended by family and friends and did not disappoint. We will be coming back here on our next visit!
