We sat in the dribethru for 15 minutes. Then still didn't get our total order. They had us pull up and the. gave away the rest of our order to the people behind us. Finally get the rest and the sauce is incorrect. So the person at the window said hang on and walked away. TWO MINUTES LATER, she cones back and says, BBQ? Yes. Ok, they're going to bring you some. What? Forget it.

This restaurant is conveniently located in a very jumping part of downtown Galveston – just one block off the beach. It tends to be very busy. When I was there on Sunday, I was very impressed with one particular staff member. Antoinette Walker, my cashier on Sunday, is a tall 30-something black woman with tremendous poise and grace, an easy smile - and a very warm, welcoming demeanor. She is a natural host and made me feel very happy to be in the store.I was in the store twice that day. The first time I was there, the customer in line at the register was placing an order that for some reason got very terribly snagged. I think I literally waited in that line 5 minutes without that order getting resolved and finally walked away.I was frustrated and did not know why only one of the two cash registers was being used, but Antoinnette explained to me later that it was shift-change.Also I know that fast food stores are having a hard time keeping their staff right now. Even some convenience store chains are starting new people at $15 an hour to attract skilled people. I hope that McDonald’s is keeping step with what is becoming a standard level of pay for our essential worker heroes at the time of so much inflation in the US.Having myself worked as a convenience store cashier for a year - and then as a grocery store cashier for seven years - I know how stressful that kind of situation can be when you have a long line waiting. The thing that impressed me about that whole snarl - which included getting Antoinette’s supervisor involved in the situation – was that Antoinette was totally poised and gracious throughout what must have been a frustrating and difficult moment for a cashier. She is a real pro, the kind of employee that any store like this is lucky to have.

At 1pm today I went through the drive thru and waited, and waited, when I asked the lady why 2 different vehicles that got there AFTER me were able to order but I wasn't, she proceeded to have a horrid attitude. She did not sound nice to begin with. I recorded the whole ordeal. She then told me in a very rude tone that she was not going to serve me. I would just like the owner of this establishment to hear the kind of rude and disrespectful behavior that this particular employee displayed towards the customer. The same customers that ensure that this lady has a job to come to everyday. It was the worse experience I have ever encountered and I am happy I caught the whole thing on recording, so I can tell my family and friends who come to visit Galveston to please stay away from this McDonald's.

This was perhaps the worst service and food I’ve ever eaten. The burger had a huge glob of mayo and you can see on the pictures it looked awful and tasted like mayonnaise rubber. The fries were stale and cold. The chubby African American guy was rude and was too busy listening to his music on his AirPods than providing even an adequate customer service. No ketchup, no drinks for adults or my kid. There wasn’t any soap in the restroom, nor was there a clean restroom at that… This is pitiful McDonalds! I expect pretty mediocre-everything from McDonald’s anyway, but this was awful. The order took 40 min to make and there were people leaving the counter because no one would even look at their direction. If I could do a half of a star, I would. Have you ever felt robbed of your money when you pay for something, but just don’t want to deal with the establishment the second time because it would probably be worse than the actual product? Well this was that situation… Thank you for stealing my $23 McDonald’s. I really appreciate that.

My experience was in a busy Saturday night and need to say big line but moved fast. Quality in service was good and my food was exquisite.

Just what you expect a McDonald's to be. Generally clean, fast, and accurate. It's probably the best one on the island. They do get very busy during tourist season since they're right on the main thoroughfare. Despite that, even when they're packed they get you through pretty fast and most importantly get the order right. Nothing is worse than getting home to find something missing.

Got coffee which tastes stale and the bathroom. It was DISGUSTING WITH BLOOD ON THE FLOOR. I literally stopped myself from throwing up.

Stood over 20 mins for my order. Several employees standing around. It was like they didn't know what to do. Once I got my order and left realized I had a m griddle not a sausage biscuit. Trying to be too automated for the staff selection

This is a good McDonald's. Although I don't think I've ever been inside, they are usually pretty good at getting people through the drive, and orders have not been wrong. Also, I've always been able to get ice cream, which is frequently broken at many other stores.

Fresh fries, drive thru was fast, employees were polite and order was correctly made.
