Fantastic service (Josh was our waiter) and we had a large party. He got our order without writing anything down and got it perfect.The brushetta was amazing. My husband loved the stuffed mushrooms. We ordered the Mario's special pizza and it was delicious. We came for the buffet which was not open but we still had a great meal with wonderful service so it was worth the trip.
Great place! Would recommend and eat here again. Visiting from out of town, best we ate at all week.Off the beaten path, but worth it. For was great, server was very nice. Had the buffet, food choice were some family favorites and a few new things to try.
I used to live on the island a long time ago when my children were in elementary school, and we would bring them here for pizza. Now I’m bring the grandkids when we visit Galveston. Good pizza at a good price. (PaM)
Friendly staff, cozy, family friendly environment, delicious food.We had a medium pizza which was cooked to perfection. Gooey cheese, hearty tomato sauce, and a nice warm yet crunchy crust.The pastas were served very generously.The shrimp parmigiana was very flavorful.The fettuccine alfredo was so delicious and creamy.We will definitely be returning to Mario's on our next trip.
We decided to meet there for dinner before our cruise the next day. Very present surroundings. Waiter was very attentive. We all enjoyed the food. Reservation with on time seating.
This place was amazing!! Was looking for somewhere to crash for dinner after a long day at moody gardens and found this online. From the moment I walked in, I loved it. Staff was very polite and friendly, and they provided coloring sheets for the kids. They had amazing pizza and all the other dishes they offered were equally tasty. The kids cups came with lids and were styrofoam. My kids tipped there's over several times and they helped a lot. They have an open kitchen and at the end the baker was spinning the dough in the air. He let my youngest daughter catch it, and now we have a piece of dough sitting in our fridge lol. Overall, very good place I will definitely come again.
I told my boyfriend to get ready for the best pizza ever and you guys did not disappoint us! The chicken Parm was excellent as well. Generous portions great presentation and delicious flavors. ? you guys.
Sicilian pizza was wonderful! Crispy outside crust and chewy inside. We ordered Italian sausage, green pepper, onion, mushroom and pepperoni. Friendly staff and old style Italian restaurant ambience.
Its ok food we had buffet comes with cold tea kinda weird. Spaghetti with sauce, salad bar and Brownies were very good! The rest was ok. They had pizza, fried fish, italian fish, steamed veggies, pork, cream pasta, seafood bisque hubby loved it. I didn't care for it., salad bar was great. Not much for desert but their Brownies made up for it.
My husband and I stopped by for lunch and were thrilled to see a lunch buffet and at a reasonable price. I ordered the manicotti, which was excellent. The marinara sauce was sweet and really flavorful, plus the grilled bread was wonderful. Our server, Teresa, was a jewel. The world needs more kind and helpful people like her. ❤️
