Talk About Authentic This Place Is Right Up There With Almost Like Home. Service Was Excellent Fresch Home Made Orchata Water , Barbacoa Taco,Flour Tortillas. I Tried Egg With Chorizo, Potato With Egg, And Heuvos Rancheros Really Good. I've Been To Alot Of Restaurants And I Can Say I Recommend To Vist This In Galveston We're Here On Vacation From Houston
I have been coming here when it was Compas for 15 years. it was always great the new restaurant Lupita is more expensive and serves you less. my wife ordered a child’s plate. she served her a child’s plate and when I went up to pay they said she wasn’t allowed to order a child’splate and charged her the full price. I ordered extra tortillas and they charge me $1.40 for three skinny little corn tortillas. We will not go backWilliam Hughston

Excellent restaurant. The only drawback is parking/location. It doesn't have a great view or easy parking. It does have reasonable prices, very good food, excellent staff and a homey atmosphere. We will be back.
Loved the food. Large portion matches the price. You won't be disappointed. Parking is on the street, but it's safe.
I rarely write a review but just had to on this place. Oh my did we score today! Awesome little place…fajitas were phenomenal as were the chips and salsa…plus homemade flour tortillas! Prices were extremely reasonable as well and staff was friendly and attentive. We’ll probably go back tomorrow….it was that good. Definitely check them out!
Ordered 2 burrito and menudo on the phone. Got there 20min later to pick up and waited another 20min to get the food we finally asked where our order was. Our order was jus sitting there the whole time. The food was not bad but wasn't great. Let be real jus bring Compas back!
