It was authentic I'll give it that. Tortillas as big as your head were not bad. My problem was cleanliness. The table was sticky, the menus were sticky and were covered in old food, drink ware looked like it hadn't been replaced since the 1900s (chipped,cracked) . The food tasted freshish and homemade, overall a 6/10. Customer service was good. It's an ok place overall, nothing worth visiting twice though.
Despite being short staffed, our server tried her hardest to keep our coffees topped off, she apologized continuously but the food and the value for your food made it all worthwhile! Hole in the wall type of place with great, homemade Mexican food... the menudo was tasty albeit could have had a bit more tripe but I get it, times are tough for restaurants. I ordered a barbacoa taco expecting a regular taco... I got a behemoth of a taco l!! Super delicious and 3 people could have eaten from 1 taco. Recommend for sure!
Not bad. The tortillas are freshly made, no complaints on portion size, meat didn't really have a flavor. Again not bad
Lovely staff, very home town feel to the resturaunt. I had a sausage and egg burrito, husband had the chorizo and egg, and the barbacoa. Both were delicious, service was quick, and it has a very traditional vibe. Love it!
Was not impressed with the food or service. We had to ask for chips and salsa and waited about 20 mins for it. The food reminded me of something that would be served in a school cafeteria. I actually ended up with digestion issues for two days after eating here. I would not go back or recommend!!
Delicious my husband got the surprise burrito and I got sausage burrito and we try small menudo , very friendly staff I loved a small plate with bunny print and owner was so kind to give me two we will be back.

I moved back to the island in April after a 20 year hiatus and couldn't wait to get to my favorite mexican food joints and boy I was disappointed the Mom and Pop must have passed away the service was lousy most of the tables we're dirty and all of them had bad balinsing issues. We both ordered the same thing the enchiladas dinner, however they brought me out the fajita dinner I went ahead and ate it. It took 40 minutes for the food to come we both ordered tea they never came and refilled the tea the food was cold and I only got one torrta for a half pound of beef the lettuce and tomato were wilting, I used to love there refried beans they would use the bacon grease from breakfast and fry the beans in the bacon grease not anymore beans out of a can. Top it off I have reached the age that if you even hear or think about the rest room you better be ready for anything goes, sure enough I get to the facilities and it was filthy and you guessed it no paper in either restroom so there I am stranded on the toilet bowl my friend had to go to the family dollar store and get me a roll. I will give them another chance I am a retired CSM Us Army Airborne Ranger 26 years of service and it I I ran Central Command like some of these business we would have lost the war
