We are locals, and the food is excellent 9/10 times. Their beef barbacoa is fantastic as are their tortillas. Their beef enchiladas are excellent as well. We are pretty picky about food, and no one gets it right 100% of the time. It's great having a place like them around because fast food isn't always acceptable and Henry's fits the bill! Just don't expect to get your food really fast going here. They are a small operation, but everything is made from scratch, but it is definitely worth the wait!
These people are so very sweet. One of the men was outside and walked in behind us and handed us the menu. Then the lady took our order she was very attentive and super sweet. She even gave me a real rose. (It's mother's day) BUT I'm not a mother. She didn't even ask just handed me the rose. I felt so special and happy. I would highly recommend eating here. :)
Traveling frequently, I like to stay away from the tourist attractions and find the local favorites. I was fortunate to find Henry’s early in a three-week trip to Galveston. I’d visited on several occasions and had even picked up lunch for my entire team on one occasion. Henry’s has such a diverse menu that I never had the same dish twice. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, Henry’s has something for you! Hard working and family owned, and during my stay I was able to get to know them a little. A great family worthy of your support and you won’t be disappointed!
You get friendly service the food is awesome and it don't cost alot
This place has a parking area under construction. But the facility is very dirty once you have a look around at the floor, broken and dirty windows and counter. The staff is just there without any personable connection with the customer. The food tasted like it had been re-dipped in the oil.I would not recommend this place.
Good food at a very good price. You can get a lot of food for cheap. The beef burrito was very good as well as the rice and beans. The burrito was fully customizable. Will definitely have to go again to try more of the menu.
Our service was slow and our food was terrible. Done. We had cheese enchiladas and they were not good. We also had beef quesadillas and they were tough. The rice was bland.

The homemade chips were delicious. The beef fajitas was good.
Always 5 stars, I love it, not to expensive, great food. If we're tired at home and don't want to cook we can call in an order and pick it up later.
