We had a great family meal after a full Day at the resort. We will definitely return to Gratto and we will request the same waitress. I can not pronounce her name correctly, Berella I believe. She was attentive and on point! The artichokes were a table favorite and the bread was A+. We ordered too much food but have lunch for today!

It didnât appear too crowded and they also seemed to have plenty of wait staff, but many things (e.g., water/iced tea refills, extra bread, missing silver) were often ignored, forgotten, or delayed. The pizza was overloaded and as a result the middle was soggy. When it cooled, it became inedible. Our other entrees were good but often something was a little off (a bland bite, an unexpected bone, etc). Family photos also didnât appear encouraged.
Very mediocre Italian fare. Service was poor. Knowingly served the wrong order, then tried to charge fir something not served. No thanks!
I drive to Galveston just to eat their Cioppino ( Seafood Soup ). It is one of the best around. My friends that go with me enjoy all their food.
Food and service were excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in the Galveston area.
The service here has gotten increasingly worse. Our server was either high or just really incompetent. Either way, he has no business working in a somewhat upscale restaurant. I have never done this in my life but we left no tip because it was so horrible. Awful experience.
Another great experience at the San Luis. The Grotto is a nice little restaurant with outstanding food and great service.

Overall a good evening but food was just good not great advertise. Waitress was attentive but the kitchen was slow, the wait time between salad and entree was excessive.
