If I could give less than 1 star I would.would...The service was terrible.. they took forver to give us food then did not even listen when we was complaining about the food. The Carne guisada tasted like dog food and I've never had it taste like that before anywhere else. It was $39 for us to share 2 things. I WILL NEVER come back and everyone else that I work with who plans their trips here will nit visit. I'm so upset with this terrible service I will even be telling strangers about the worst restaurant ever...we even had to ask for straws and plates 4 tines each before she brought them to us
First time there and it was pretty good. The breakfast menu says burritos, but they were actually large taquitos. We hung out for about an hour after returning from our cruise. This place is about 1/2mi from the port and was recommended by our taxi driver. Food was freshly cooked, staff was great, restaurant is a hole in the wall and very clean. Cost was average. I would return if ever I find myself in the area again.
I'm from Austin born and raised and let's put it this way, if I could, this would be the ONLY place I get my breakfast tacos and burritos They. Are. Amazing. Great portions, good flavor, and the staff there are so sweet and thoughtful. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for either just an all around good breakfast burrito or anyone looking for that perfect hangover cure. 10*s all around
Was not impressed by anything ordered. My taco was wack!My husband ordered a combination platter~with taco & beef enchiladas~ but the charro beans were dry with no juice~ I hate to give this place a 2 star because the outside workers were nice (even while attempting to charge us $20 a pc to park there. *they were trying to collect for event parking. But because we ate there, parking was FREE❗ BUT AGAIN FOOD WAS NASTY!
I’ve been coming here for almost a decade and there are no words to describe how great the food is. This a is a small family owned restaurant with an amazing staff. The owner greets her customers with a smile. Just be patient with them. It’s all owned and operated by family members and when they are busy it’s a by slow but it’s definitely worth the wait. Stop in early before the rush and they’ll take great care of you. I recommend the surprise burrito. They have an off the menu pork chop plate and I’m in there so often that they bring me my drink without having to order and they place my favorite which is the pork chop plate. When I bring guests with me they get a bit surprised that the family there knows my favorite dish. I love this place and please stop by and say hi to Trish and her mom. Trish’s daughter will also take great care of you. I would rate this place 100 stars if it was offered.
Literally the best food!
Went there for breakfast. Great meal and inexpensive.
After being seated , We was totally ignored for a good 20 min. .My party of 6 ordered a Casio which we had to ask for it , then we was again totally ignored . However they took care of there locals but again they didn't seam like they wanted our business . I am in Baytown and come to Galveston regularly but I will never go back to this place . We had gone in with 4 mentally handicapped family members and I was totally shocked the way we was treated. the service was terrible . Got 3 plates first .then they brought 2 more and while some of us was finishing our food they came out with the last plate . They did not want to work .
Great service and the cheese enchiladas were sooo good! Seating was a little hectic but the food and staff are amazing. Definitely worth stopping in
Best Mexican food East of Laredo! Well worth the jot off the strand to get some good food. Excellently priced too.
