I ordered a burrito with eggs, cheese, chorizo, and rice. The very first thing I noticed wrong was how hard the tortilla was and how greasy the burrito was. It was gross!! The second thing that was wrong, was there was absolutely no rice in the burrito. I wouldn't have considered this a big deal but I got charged extra for the rice that I DID NOT receive! The lady who took my money for this awful food was so rude. I guess good help is hard to find so really can't be mad at the company for this. I would not recommend going to this place. It was a total waste of money. I tried calling 3 times to the restaurant to resolve this matter but no luck. Hopefully anyone else who visits this place has a better experience than the one that they gave me.

I have enjoyed the food since El nopalito took over. But the service is horrible. There is a short blonde hispanic women who is very rude and has a horrible attitude and seems racist. I sent my husband to make a order for us (who is black) and she was so rude to him. She kept walking away as he was trying to order and because she was so rude and dismissive to him, she got our order completely wrong. I show support to this business and I have complained to management and I call this morning to complain again and no manager available. This is so upsetting!

This place is definitely a hidden gem in Galveston. Good food and great service. Will definitely be coming back soon.

As most mex restaurant's here on Island very bright , an experience with with good and original fixings, yea go check it out, you may be surprised, stay toon I'll have more fun places to go by

The food was great, very friendly wait staff. Would definitely go again. They need to think about selling their salsa in jars to go. Very good.

I had the cheese stuffed poblano pepper, was served with rice wich had good flavor but kinda cold, refried beans delicious but cold as well, salad and guacamole wich was delicious ; warmer sides would have made the plate good.Service on the other hand was lacking hospitality, no greeting, when we asked about some items in the menu waitress was rude ,checked on us only once (waitress was socializing with another worker it seemed) after me flagging another waitress who by the way was really friendly and helpful , restaurant had only one other table.

Their flour tortillas are made in house and are ever so yummy. I've been there twice now & have had the same waitress, she is SO sweet and lovely. The food is great and this will be another Galveston staple of mine.

Me and my wife decided to come and eat some breakfast close to Galveston On a Friday got to say ,it was very nice and quiet everybody was really polite and food was so good and tasty definitely come back especially Nere was super nice make sure we had extra coffee and extra salsa?

I love this restaurant..the food is delicious & the staff is friendly

Authentic Mexican food and great service. New owners sound like they are going to be making it an even better place to eat with a new menu including catch-of-the day and other improvements.
