Went here couple times on this trip and the people are very friendly and happy. Big selection, very popular spot. Excellent prices. Our guy was smiling the whole time and seemed happy to be in this service. Did not have anything that was so so, loved every bite

I love the donuts here! I usually get the glazed, filled, and cake donuts. I've also tried their croissant sandwich and it's hands down one of the best croissant sandwiches I've ever had in my life. Any time I come here, there's usually a short line, and it takes about 5 minutes for my turn. The staff is always friendly too!

Went in to purchase a egg and ham croissant, I only asked for the croissant and the guy was more interested in trying to sell me a drink he did not heat it up for me. I asked for hot sauce, you know us Texans anyway all he had was cold salsa. I learned my lesson not going back.
The lady was a sweetie, my coffee hit the spot, I liked the kolache and it was a good quiet place to train and work.

If you live in Galveston, you are SO LUCKY to have a place that has as many different delicious things to eat under one roof. I lived in Galveston for 8 years and enjoyed kolaches and other treats from Donut Palace as often as I could (without becoming 300 lbs). Amazing staff, great prices, the BEST breakfast food you will find anywhere in the USA. Take it from me: I moved up north to Chicago, and although there is great food here everywhere, there is nothing like Donut Palace and it makes me want to weep. Highly recommended!
