Love the beach and a good burger. This Burger King has that along with being a decent place to eat inside, usually. This visit warranted a very unsanitary restaurant. It was terrible unclean with little effort to remedy the issue. There were plenty of staff…3 people dishing out fried seemed a inefficient distribution of labor considering dining table needed attention. Only leaving a review so that this location might improve enough to visit again.
I went through the drive through. The order was wrong on the screen. Employee said she changed it on her screen, but it was on the receipt wrong too. So I pointed it out to the cashier. She took my receipt to the back (I never got it back). When I got my food, two of the items were wrong. They were made just like the receipt said, meaning the order taker did not make any corrections. I went inside to fix. One the sandwiches was fixed, but they messed up the other one again. I cut my losses and left. Moral of the story: Get the order entered correctly!!
I just waited 25 minutes in the drive thru lane with only 4 cars ahead. At the window the girl talked to what looked like her manager for 5 minutes and 20 sec while my whopper and fish sandwich was open while my order was complete sitting there. She then closed the bag and handed to me. I asked her why since the order was complete did she let the order sit for over 5 minutes. She just shrugged so I said this is the slowest Burger King ever and she rudely just grinned and said "have a nice day". The ticket said "hiring managers" and they better hurray up since that guy isn't managing. The fish was old and soggy for sitting so long. Avoid Galveston Burger King. Slow and old food.
They had a bit of a time making my salad burger. (No meat no patty.) But it finally came out good.
I went through the drive through and my food was hot and order accurate. The person taking orders was extremely polite.
The new whopper melt is hideous as was my entire order. Everything tastes like it was precooked and imitation. No flame broiled flavor here.
There is nothing like a fresh hot Whopper don't know why I crave them but sometimes I just have to have it
I'm miss Burger King cuz Kelsey did not have one for a good while so barking it is Burger King in Galveston so that's the only place to go to have a good burger from Burger King but not bad place
Cashier was totally lacking in Customer Service Skills. We ordered One Breakfast Combo and she never gave us the total or asked if that completed the order,and never said please drive around to the window or even gave us the total. When my husband asked,do I need to pull around,she very condescendingly said,yeah if you done ordering. Very rude! Also,the hash browns were fried so long that there wasnt any potato left inside. Very poor customer service and quality of food.
Manager was nice, food what you would expect, but employee was short when we asked, politely, for a remake.
