A lot of delicious food for the price.
The food was beautifully presented and tasted even better! Breakfast was excellent. Lunch was also excellent!
We had Khianna as our waitress for the second time. She is outstanding! She is friendly & personal, detailed oriented and efficient. She remembered us from our last visit and new our preferences before we asked for them. I highly recommend Khianna & her supervisors Alicia & Annie for your visit to Blake’s Bistro at the San Luis.
We had Sunday Bruch at this Restaurant, they had a good variety on food and drinks. The food bar was extremely clean and food looks and tasted fresh.We were greeted by nice hostess with great smile and make us feel welcomed right of way.Our waitress named Indiana went above and beyond of our expectations with service.I asked if there was and especial drink which Is made with OJ+milk. (Morir Soñando) to my surprised she went and prepared herself for our delight.I think details like this made a difference on how a customer will remember a nice restaurant and makes me want to come back.Thank you for great service Indian and staff.I definitely recommend this place.
Trash fries were good, huge portion. Meals were good but nothing special. Mahi tacos were the best. Crab roll was bland. Ribs were good. Service was slow considering the restaurant wasn't packed, but it was easy to get into on a Saturday night.
We did lunch Saturday and it enjoyed the food so much, we returned Sunday for Mother's Day breakfast! The breakfast buffer was $20 person. Wonderful variety of choices.Natalia was our server both days and she gave us 1st class service BOTH DAYS!
We ate here out of convenience as it is in our hotel and was open late enough for dinner, next time we eat here it will be because we know how good it is! Parking of course was not an issue, there is a large lot out back so even if your not staying here....no problem. The dining area was very clean, I saw the staff pick up several items dropped and thrown down by the unruly kids a few tables down. The food was delicious and the staff very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!
I always loved that place but this time Blake’s experience was so terrible. Our server Hannah even didn’t greet us. Then we were waiting too long to just place our order although it was just 4 tables at the whole restaurant.. We got our drink only when we reminded her. There was couple of misunderstanding about food but that was solved quickly. We were waiting for our tab long as well. And again it wasn’t correct. I always tip 25-50 percent cause I’m server as well and I know that is hard work. But if you want this tip you should at least smile and treat the guest so they feel comfortable and leave the restaurant satisfied with everything!
We ate here TWICE in the same day. We visited for breakfast and lunch.For breakfast there was a buffet that was pack with delicious food. There was also an omelet station and a carving station. The price was so reasonable I had to look twice at the receipt. $18 per person for all you can eat buffet that wasn't just a couple pastries but rather all kinds of delicious, hot, fresh food.For lunch it was no less impressive. The menu had plenty of great choices and the portions were HUGE. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sliders and a salad. I could have just ordered one of those and would have been full.The service was top notch for breakfast and lunch. I am glad I don't live closer because I would be there all the time.
Blake’s Bistro is a phenomenal restaurant. My family and I enjoyed dinner there last night after our reservations at another restaurant fell through. What started out as a stressful night turned into a great one once we found Blake’s.The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. When we are visiting Galveston , we ll be eating at Blake’s Bistro. 10/10
