We decided to stop here for some breakfast. They did t have menudo at the time but we stayed away and I'm glad we did. The huevos rancheros we're delicious. The Chorizo is home made with a 150 year old recipe and it was the best I've ever had! The salsa looked plain but I kept eating it. Not to spicy just right. It's a little hole in the wall but it's great.

Veggie omeletDelicious !RecommendOld still breakfast and restaurant.

This is like I am in my friend's tia's kitchen. Homemade food for sure. Delicious to the last bite. Highly recommend salsa, rice, carne guisada (I cannot stress how amazing this tastes and tender) and Surprise Burrito.Everything is served on paper or in styrofoam, but that's just to protect and easier cleanup. As long as they keep cooking like that, I really don't care if they serve it in my hands.Customer service is excellent.50 stars!!!

The food is amazing and fresh. Everything is homemade and the recipes can't be matched. Truly authentic flavors of Mexico.

Has been my favorite in Galveston for years. The meals are always just like homemade and I can't get enough of the salsa.

Really delicious Tex-Mex food, in a very quiet area location I will definitely be back next time I'm in Galveston, Tx.

Amazing food! Excellent service and very friendly. If you like small, family owned, out of the way places, you will love it!

We did not plan to eat here because thought they still were closed due to COVID but we saw a sign in the sidewalk for chicken tinga special. I had delicious chicken enchiladas with creamy sauce, my favorite here. My husband had the biggest and most delicious breakfast taco ever. They were using paper plates and plastic cutlery. Instead of their regular dishes and glasses, everything was disposable but food was great.

Wife told me of her experience. Her and her girlfriend go for lunch. They are the only patrons at the time. She loved the Salsa. Food...ok. What has me laughing is she was shocked at how the owner was rushing them out. Even mentioned to them that he was trying to close. She felt bad asking for anything but mustard up and askes for another Paper Cup of water she never received...LMBO! I wont go or recommend this place.. Advice to the owner...dude treat your locals better..we here year around!

The food is wonderful. The service is personal. If you get breakfast, they still serve ole fashion toast-grilled. That in itself is worth a visit.
