Want to thank Ms. Rita and family for allowing us to have Thanksgiving with them and welcoming us with open arms! We were in the area on vacation and they were closed for business and invited us back to eat with their family! Great food! Don't miss this place awesome people!
The staff was very friendly. I let them know I was Celebrating my 48th birthday all week, from 12-07-2021, and Everyday for a week I had been trying a different Black ? Owned Eatery and the young Queen gave me TWO DESSERTS..., And some extra sides..!Thank you so much...I Love the fact that this is Black ? Owned...stay strong and keep up the good work..the food was very good.Fried, and a smothered pork chops, oxtails, rice and gravy, Lima beans, black eyed peas and okra and tomatoes..?????❤️?????✊?

Attempted to enter this establishment and was met at the door by an African American gentleman who said that they were closed. The hours on the door advertised that they were open until 7 pm. There was a notice on the door that said, No Mask No Entry. There are still patrons attending this establishment. Recently, Texas passed a voided mandate for Masks. And any establishment who woefully enforces such can be reprimanded with a fine. Just FYI for future reference.
Delicious down home cooking and they give you VERY generous portions. Quick service too. I had the ribs (juicy and tender), broccoli casserole and mac n cheese. Best mac n cheese I’ve had in a long time.
We arrived late in the evening. The food didn't look fresh. I heard great things about them overall. I'll give them another opportunity.
