The last time we came into woody’s, the service was outstanding, beer was flowing and we had a great time. Can’t wait until menu opens up!
We came for the dwarf tossing, but stayed for the food!! It is all delicious!! Like they say here at Woody's, "Food so good...it'll give ya wood!". Whether it's for the friendly staff, the Everclear punch, the food, or the nightly entertainment...you cannot beat Woody's! Love this place!!
So glad to have Woody’s back open. The renovation looks awesome. The wings are GREAT. Perfect place to hang out with the family and friends.
Woody's recently changed from Woody's Restaurant and Sports Bar to Woody's Kitchen and Bar, a sctatch kitchen. We didn't go frequently in the past but would try to support occassionally. Well, the menu has no new items just fewer items, that said however, the food quality declined. Which doesn't make sense being it is now promoted as a scratch kitchen. Sad to see, I wish Woody's ownership and staff well, I hope things get better, but probably won't be back.
I have to say I’m truly disappointed. I’ve been coming here for a long, long time. They advertise great food specials online and do great with promoting themselves but do not deliver. The staff is wonderful. It’s what’s going on with the food (inconsistent, poorly cooked, takes forever). Not okay! The staff is amazing and seriously goes above and beyond. This message is to management. Give the staff the tools to back your place up. I doubt some of these positive reviews are authentic. I go there enough to see who is in there .
You would have made a lot more money had the waitress come to our table more than twice. Took our order, disappeared for 30 min, brought our food and left for good. You could have sold 5 or 6 beers and gotten a great tip, too bad your service sucks and your wait staff is clueless and lazy. Wont be back.
A good dinner of hot wings, fries and a side of mashed potatoes.Service was excellent too. All food was served hot, NOT from under the heat lamp. Thank you. Very tasty as well. Soft drink refills were aplenty. The college football games were on a majority of the TVs, I didn't miss a score at all.Based on the food and service alone, I highly recommend Woody's Sports Restaurant. The games on the TVs is the icing on the cake. Thanks Woody's!

So much fun! They are a KC bar, the crowd was really fun! There's even this wild diehard KC guy that brings all these fun fan memorabilia and chants during the game. He even started a wave! Great food great fun!
