I usually don’t leave reviews, especially for places I love but this is the absolute worst whataburger location in the area. Every time I go I say “let me just try one more time” and it gets progressively worse. The manager is awful, the employees have no idea what’s going on & the food is always soggy and cold. I just waited 45 minutes for an online order (which I thought would help with the waiting) I made 20 minutes before I arrived. Ridiculous. It doesn’t matter what time you arrive, it will always take 30+ minutes to get lukewarm food. I’ll make the trip to the one up in Eldorado from now on.
very disappointed and upset. I like coming here because it’s open at night and some pretty decent food, I ended up ordering a number 1 meal, which is just a burger and fries no drink okay I waited like everybody else till I got to the front (20-30min) I paid; everything is going normal then I’m told to pull into the right lane, I thought this was strange just for a simple meal considering they put you here whenever it’s gonna take some time till your meal is ready, anyway 5min goes by, car that was behind me gets there food and leaves and this cycle goes on until it’s been another 30min and most of the line behind me already got there food and left. Then a big darker lady comes outside and asks me what did I order again? I told her a number 1 meal no drink and she rolls her eyes and does a hmmm okay In I didn’t know how to feel after that, another 5min goes by and someone else got there food and I just couldn’t wait anymore I paid 9$ for the simplest meal just to waste my time for a hour, and they weren’t understaffed when I pulled up to the window I could see 4 hard working women, however very disappointing and probably never spending my money here again. I basically ended up paying to sit in a whatabruger drive thru for an hour. for nothing.
As a morning person, it's important to me that servers at any restaurant are cheerful in the early hours. I was not disappointed at this location. The overnight staff person was incredibly helpful and friendly considering he had been up all night. The place was very clean, coffee was ready and served hot with a smile. I'll definitely be returning.
The drive thru could be managed a little better. I’ve noticed that a certain night crew tends to do a little better, and that’s the group that works during the weekdays. It’s composed of mostly older Hispanic/Latino employees. They are such patient hard working people, they always get my order right and they treat me with so much respect and kindness. If only the rest of the staff could be like this too. Props to those employees though, it’s a small group of like four people that are of Hispanic/Latino descent.
I had a meeting at 8 o clock 5 minutes away from this store. I had my pickup set on the app between 835 and 840. The lady said my order didn't come through and they started making it at 745, which they typically need 30 minutes for orders over $80. The girl at the front was short with me, annoyed, as if it were my fault that my order was late. I've been spending about $500-$600 a week ordering my catering orders for meetings through whataburger. This location essentially told me in one visit that I need to take my catering orders back to chic-fil-a.
The food is okay, but they manage to get our order wrong 90% of the time. Also, the customer service is really poor. I have stood at the counter before to pick up a "curbside" order for 15 minutes without a single employee acknowledging that I existed (we waited in the car for 20 minutes AFTER our scheduled pickup time so I went inside to get it).
Worst service. The manager was rude. I asked the lady why is my food taking forever? (I had been waiting for 20-25 mins for a kids meal and chicken strips). Lady went to the manager about it and I overheard the manager say “doesn’t she know it takes awhile?” with a rude tone. I did not appreciate it since he is a manager. Being a manager myself, I would have came to the customer to apologize and thanked them for their patience. Anyway moral of the story worst customer service.
It just depends. The food is either great, hot and what you would expect or it's all room temperature and you can tell it has been sitting out for a bit. I have always had pleasant service though.
Waited at curbside pickup for 25 minutes. Had to call to get my order. Diet Dr Pepper tastes like the fountain mix is way off. Food was at least hot and good.
I was going here every morning, but I have stopped do to certain morning workers between the hours of 5:00a.m. and 6:00 a.m.They forgot or didn't write down my order several mornings, and when they get it right the food or drink was horrible. Some mornings they don't have the tea made. I sincerely hope they get their act together.
