The gyro shop.was my 1st dinner in Frisco. I never eat Greek food or gyros but I was drawn here by angel voices and personal cravings on a molecular level. I was famished, depleted of energy and needed real sustenance. The gyro shop guy guided me through the menu made fantastic suggestions and built me a glorious combination plate of epic proportions. This single meal realigned my entire being. I will forever love this place.

Definitely, brought me back to NewYork City Halal food!!! I don't think I tasted the difference. So do believe them when they say "Straight outta New York", it's definitely ?!!!Location is clean, with available seating area. Order to pick up available. Will definitely order from there again.

This place is amazing! The food is so delicious! And you will get full off a main plate. So so good! Well portioned and we’ll prices. The food is full of flavor and the wait is never too long. You should try it , highly recommended!

I’m a big fan of gyros. Had them in Greece and seek out great ones everywhere I go. There is nothing like fresh sliced gyro meat from one of those rotisserie things. If you love gyro meat like that, don’t go to The Gyro Shop. It is prepared like ground beef and is greasy. Tasted okay, but I won’t ever go back. It is just not a gyro to me.

I’ve been here a couple of times, and this place has a decent Gyro and/or platter. They offer a pretty basic menu with Chicken, Lamb or Falafel. You can choose between the platter with your choice of protein, rice, lettuce, tomatoes, white and red sauce. Or, you can have the same ingredients on a pita bread to make a Gyro.Service here really leaves something to be desired. On both of my visits the staff wasn’t very friendly at all.On my last visit, we walked into the store around 7:30pm, the store was empty. The man walked out from the back and didn’t say anything, he just looked at us. We ordered the platter, he looked into the rice pot and said there was no rice left and it would take 30+ minutes for more rice. So, we ordered a gyro instead. When he was done, he handed us a bag with our food, we thanked him, but he didn’t say anything back, he just turned around and started walking to the back of the store. If service was better, I would’ve given them 4 stars. With so many other options close by, I can’t say I’d ever come back here again after my last experience. It’s really a shame, because this place really has some potential.

I was by the shops around the area and decided to give this place a try. I've had gyros in New York and have yet to been able to find anything similar anywhere in Texas. The gyros are the best I have had and really close to the ones in New York. The platters are also a must try. I've been back about 3 or 4 times. Definitely a must try. The meat is super flavorful and the service very friendly.

Their gyro roll and gyro bowl with rice and salad were average. Service was fast friendly and rooms were clean too. I will give them ??

I found this place by mistake. I was about to go to Platia Greek food and looked across the street and noticed this spot. I was in the mall parking lot and decided to Google the place and check out the reviews. I saw that most people were getting the lamb platter. Well, everyone was right. The lamb platter is goooood! And it’s a little spicy, which I like. $10 for a lamb platter is decent, especially considering that it’s good! I’ll definitely be back here for sure. The guy that served me said they been here for 6 months.

Ok this place is GOOD! I've been seeing it pop up a lot on different apps and finally decided to try it.Atmosphere: it's a pretty small place with a few tables, nothing special. It's pretty quiet 3/5Service: the service was good. The guy at the front was friendly. It wasn't busy when I went so I was in and out pretty quick 4/5Food: FLAVORFUL! I got the combo (chicken and lamb) sandwich. I honestly wasn't expecting it to taste that good. I've had gyros before and most of the time the highlight is the pita. But this was really delicious! The meat was seasoned and well cooked, the white and red sauce were perfect with all of the toppings.I also got some waffle fries to try and they were really good as well, definitely surpassed my expectation. 5/5Will I return?: ABSOLUTELY!!! Might be back tomorrow....

The gyro's are amazing. I went here for my first time at lunch. Owner very nice
