I do not recommend this restaurant!!!! First off the food was bland and severely overcooked. The brisket was dry and crumbly. The ribs were so overcooked they barely stayed on the bone to eat and the bones were soft and cracked, that a sign of overcooked ribs. The Mac and cheese was watery and they had the nerve to put shredded cheese on top. Potato salad was bland and unappetizing. But the worse part was the banana pudding. It was utterly disgusting. It looked like cottage cheese with a vanilla wafer on top!!! I was very upset with the quality of the food and would not ever go back!!!!
Brother and I tried this new location after visiting the Celina location a few years ago and I was impressed. This location was so disappointing, the ribs were over cooked, turkey was dry, the macaroni and cheese was bland and nothing special at all. The best part of the meal was the Texas toast. I will not be visiting this location again, the next time I’m in town I will make the trip to the celina location if I fill like it.
We were not familiar - read reviews and took a chance. It was the best service ever and the food fresh and delicious! The ribs, baked potato, coleslaw and banana pudding wonderful. All employees worked together and service excellent. Order at front when you go in- they were familiar with menu and helpful beyond belief. Just a great place!
This place was awesome! First time in Frisco and looked up good BBQ. Found this place and very happy I did. It was newer, clean and the food was amazing. First walking in you pass their huge smokers. The smell was so intoxicating I couldn't wait to taste the food. Definitely check this place out if your are every in Frisco.
Our favorite BBQ restaurant! Tender is a gem! The food is delicious, and the service is outstanding. We have been to many BBQ restaurants, and Tender is consistently above the rest. I would highly recommend!
Simply Excellent... Our server was great... His favorite cliche was all right all right... The ribs were off the bone literally off the bone.
Disappointing. Ribs were mediocre at best. First set were undercooked. Second order were too chewy. Service was excellent.
Best smoked meats I've had in Texas (I"M from Oklahoma and) the stuffed baked sweet potato is excellent!!!
Staff at Tenders is extremely friendly and helpful. Restaurant has a great ambiance. The meat falls off the bone with their ribs. The homemade chips served in a small iron skillet are great. We have gone back often.
It is very casual, but not cheap. We ordered at the register, then someone brought it to us. The staff was very accommodating. We ate outside.
