I used to like the food and i'm went today after 2 years. TO my surprise they removed the lunch special and i ordered fried rice to my surprised they increased the price and also gave little food. Intresting to see that they jacked up the price but gave half the size. I guess because of inflation they are cutting corners. I wont be going back to this place.
My first visit to Tasty Garden goes back to 2015. I didn't go there much although their food was great is because they were just always BUSY. So many people, lots of people standing in line to pick up to-go orders (I think they also used to deliver). So long story short, I loved the food but didn't go much since too many people were there all the time.Then when COVID hit in 2019, I thought about them & was craving their delicious food. As you know all of the restaurant businesses especially locally owned businesses got hit the hardest. We visited and they were struggling but since their food is still super delicious they still had lots of to-go orders. Their website is really nice and easy to order on-line and pick up the food. We've been doing to-go orders at least once every 2 weeks. My family has visited them in-person also (from Oct 2021). Usually we're the only table there but recently I've seen more families come to eat in-person but we're for sure keeping our distance.If you loved this place before, go support your local restaurant. Same cook (the older gentleman) and the 2 older lady & sometimes the younger lady are still there & they truly appreciates my family coming to visit them. What they don't realize is that they are saving me from COOKING AGAIN!!LOVE LOVE this place! :)
I truly enjoy the food here. My food is always hot and delicious. The service is fast as well.
my second time in this restaurant, this time the experience was terrible, I ordered a plate of spicy Korean beef, another with orange chicken, the meat was tough and the worst thing was that it was accompanied with fried rice prepared with egg and the smell stunk, it seemed that the egg was rotten and they did not notice , when making the observation, they answer me that if I want more rice, I must pay extra, the worst of all is that they do not care about satisfying the customer. I do not recommend this place, 3 customers less!
Lo mein is soupy, beef has no carmelization to it so it is soggy - the fact that I was the only person here should have been a clue
Ive been eating here for 7 years. Never disappoints, always delicious. My fave dishes are:The kong pao chickenThe bell pepper chickenAnd Spicy vegetable soup withh lots of crunchy noodles
The last 2 time I've been there the first was so salty i couldn't eat it. Same thing I've ordered for the past 3 yrs.I said something and the response was "sorry" and nothing more. After 2 times in a row i found other places.. sad because this has become my favorite in Frisco.....
I absolutely love Tasty Garden. The food is amazing, excellent service, and fairly priced. I definitely recommend Tasty Garden over any other Chinese food restaurant.
Beef flat noodle is so good! We also had sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, chicken Lo mein and hot sour soup. It is all so good! We prefer to dine in rather than take out.
Good is delicious especially the chicken fried rice. However the ladies could be friendlier especially during these difficult times.
