Great donuts and kolaches, the kolaches with breakfast sausage are especially delicious. I also love the owner, they are very friendly and sometimes gives me extra donuts.
Found this gem of a place by the house. Introduced Chocolate old fashion donuts to my daughter and we love their chocolate old fashion version here! Definitely will be back to try all of their other versions. Their sausage buns look really good too. Spinach and cream cheese will be my next item to try.
One of the best donut shops in the Frisco area. Love the fruit donut they have and its a right mix of not too sweet, not too rich, but just the right pick me up for any Moring you need it. Plus they have a couple pescatarian options too!
Donuts are supposed to be something you grab, hit the sweet tooth, bring a smidge of shame for ruining the diet (again)…they aren’t supposed to make you think about them days later and bring them up in conversation with friends. These are the best cronuts and donuts I’ve ever had. Hands down.
Very friendly staff! I was already pleasantly surprised that they were open on Jan 1st. Was more surprised with how good the food and service were. I live in Houston, so I can't visit here often, but I would if I could.
This place is amazing one of our physical therapist brings star donuts to our clinic on Friday’s and they are amazing, some of the best donuts I’ve ever had.

Always very friendly and helpful, even in the wee hours before daylight. I always go there to pick up treats for the office when we hold our monthly staff meeting.

Our family loves donuts and there are a lot of options in Frisco. There’s a decent donut shop within walking distance of my house, but I still choose to drive the 15 minutes it takes for me to get to Star Donuts because theirs are the best. I must pass by a dozen other donut shops on my way and I never even think of stopping. I promise you these are the absolute BEST donuts you will ever eat. Trust me.The mom and daughter who own this shop, show up every night, all night to make the food and you can tell because their donuts are so fresh. They’re light and airy and perfectly delicious. Both women are beyond sweet and helpful. Truly great customer service each and every time we go there. I have never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered ever. Their consistency in the quality of their food is one you could bet on and never lose. They make a few specialty gourmet donuts just got fun, try one, you won’t be disappointed. These wonderful ladies KNOW how to bake.Please try Star Donuts. With so many amazing restaurants closing down because of Covid, it would be a true shame to lose a place this good. I don’t write a lot of reviews, but when food is this tasty, they deserve to be praised. Thank you Star Donuts for your unwavering excellence in food day in and day out. Your donuts are heavenly.
