Hands down my favorite sushi place! The food is excellent and the staff is super friendly!
Food was ok, definitely not a traditional sushi place - hipster oriented. Food took a very long time to be prepared, and further orders also took a very long time (20 minutes for 2 orders of sushi). Service was really bad, unfortunately. Our server ditched us after we asked how they dressed their sushi. Fortunately, the busboy kept serving us the rest of the diner (only 3 tables in use while we were there). Time to promote your busboy! Although this is a good logistical location, there are other good sushi places within a 5 minute drive that provide better customer experience.
This is by far our favorite sushi place in DFW, we have been coming here for years and the owners are great people. This is one of my favorite menu items, the tuna tower! You can also order it with salmon as an option.
Good food, but they’re typically about 45 min behind schedule when you do pickup. They tell you 20-25 minutes, and it takes about an hour and some change. Ive had this happen on three separate occasions, usually when they’re at about 30%-40% capacity.Never once have I been offered a discount or any kind of compensation for the inconvenience.They don’t seem to care about a satisfied customer. Won’t be coming here again. Save yourself the trouble. Go to Kotta sushi 5 min down the road. Way better food, and way more efficient.
I was so humiliated. I have gone to this restaurant over 10 times and paid over 30% tip almost every time. I’m leaving out the restaurant with my friends and I get stopped going out the front door by waiter who stops me in front of a crowd of people and ask me if the service wasn’t good last week because I never tipped them. Anyone that knows me knows I’m one the biggest tipper ever because I have worked in the service industry most of my life. The service wasn’t great. In my opinion there could’ve been a much more appropriate time while we were sitting down to have let us know that there was a time out of all the times we have came and tip well that we missed one.
Wanted to love it but the inattentiveness of our waiter made it very difficult. The rolls were delicious and on par with the best sushi restaurants I've been to. When we were first seated it did not appear to be busy yet our waiter took a while to get to us and as it got busier it of course got even worse.
Good sushi but severely understaffed/disorganized on multiple occasions. We had 3 different waiters ask about water and it took 1 hour to get food after ordering.
Spent New Years Eve here on a double date with my bestie! Their Ultimate Vegetarian Roll was seriously delicious! When I called ahead Logan was so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, she helped me find vegan items and even checked the kitchen to find out that their tempura doesn’t have milk or eggs in it! She was so sweet and also ended up being our server. 10/10 will absolutely be returning for more great experiences here :)
So so good! Sushi was amazing! We had several roles but the “ex-boyfriend” was our favorite! The drinks were so good! The gyoza was amazing! Will for sure be back!
Do not go here! Staff is very, very rude. Walked in with the wife was told there were no tables, and that we could go to the sushi bar. Got there and were promptly ignored for 15 mins. When I asked for menus or a drink the staff member looked at me like like I was repo'ing her car. After she came back 7~8 mins later she slammed down sticky menus. That point we got up and just left. Don't bother with this joint walk up the road to Best Thai, much better experience.
