Good food. But quite pricey….most likely because it is in a high-end area. I ordered vegetarian food which was good. But if you want to get for value for your money I will suggest other Indian vegetarian places. There paneer items are good. Customer service is good. Ambiance is also good.
*****My absolute FAVORITE Desi Restaurant*****Located at the Frisco Star, this new location is bigger and near better parking. It has ample seating inside and outside. An amazing menu with many options that allows you to pick what you want and how spicy.** My recommendation is the Butter Chicken **Other favorites include, Samosas, Chaat, Saag Paneer, and Gulab Jamon!!!Great tasting quality food that has been consistent for over 2 years!
The ambience, the food and the service have particularly surprised me as Indian restaurants in Dallas do not offer much of an upscale experience. The quality of the food is incredible and since they give us a choice of sauces which could go with various ingredients, it’s quite an interesting ride for our tastebuds. Also it’s a sister restaurant of India Palace, which assures us the promise of a good culinary journey. The owner was there a couple of times when we visited, who is always open to a great discussion about Indian food and the manager is very professional and friendly. Staff were very prompt during service and were exceptionally pleasant to interact with.
My wife loves Indian, and chose this place to celebrate her birthday. I had never had Indian food before, so I was both nervous and excited. The staff was so amazing at helping me to choose the perfect dish. They were also very friendly and so welcoming. The food was good, we WILL be going back, and the prices aren't too insane.
What a pleasant surprise !!Had goat curry and here are the good things about it:1. The meat was great quality, not an over aged goat.2. The chilli level was great, just make sure you order one level lower that what you think you can eat.3. Unlike most places each chilli level here seems to be properly made with cooked chillies - so you don't get the "kachha" uncooked chilli taste.Balance of other spices and the level of frying done to the masala was just perfect and did not give the impression of bulk manufacturing....I ENJOYED MY MEAL - WHICH I RARELY DO BECAUSE OF MY FINNIKY NATURE......AND the fact that I am a hobby chef myself for last 17 yrs.Grat meal and thanks to the chef.
From the last time I came here, the restaurant was moved to a new place with a new decor and that was good, but in about the food quality, I think I was more satisfied before. The chicken pieces in the chicken Curry were dry, the rice was a little dry too, I wasn't bad at all and I may come here again to try other items.
Decent food. Butter chicken was little more tangy than usual but was OK. Good Ambience. Samosas were good
Good Masala and Curry chicken.

Looks like they were moving to another location so they gave us hard time and was too pushy for everything including taking orders or having us seated. If they knew they were moving they should close the doors and NOT let customers to get inside and ill-treat them. Food was horrible too and felt as if they were all left overs from previous day. Pretty bad experience that too after paying a lot for the food there. For the amount they charged we could have had a fine dine in experience in some good upscale restaurant elsewhere.
