1) Food average quality2) we went for dinner and Staff was so much in rush to close at 8:00pm and less cared about customer even though it was 7:00pm. Told us they will only take orders before 7:45pm3) Most importantly- there’s is a deceptive business practice - Price of the item is not disclosed on menu, so, customer is at their mercy to charge whatever they want at the time of checkout. Price was quite high for average quality food.4) 20% or so TIP was by default applied at checkout - now this is something customer should decide based on service and courtesy, which by the way was not that good but they don’t care.Note to owner: please train your staff and be transparent about your price, tip etc’., You lost one customer from neighborhood today and you will loose many more if situation does not change.
Picked up food on a lazy Sunday. I have been a fan of Mughlai from their Addison restaurant days. We still visit that location. However, this time the food was PATHETIC in the Frisco location !! The chicken curry smelled very funky & the lamb in the biryani for sure wasn’t cooked. I’m aware of the Mughlai quality & this just wasn’t it. Very disappointed. Total waste of $53.
Loved the experience. The taste was quite similar to Alpha Rd. outlet. The service was exceptional. We & another party were the only ones during the time we visited. This could perhaps be the reason we got undivided attention from the staff. Regardless, we enjoyed the food & service. Definitely coming back here again.
Went in to try Buffet, not worth it. They have very few options and the spices weren't mixed well with the food. I could say they've the worst garlic naan ever. Drinks aren't included in the Buffet, I realized that while paying the bill.But the staff was very welcoming and the restaurant has some good ambience. Maybe they've good items on their menu.Buffet was around $18 and the drink is $3, overall I paid around $21 + taxes for an unsatisfactory Buffet.Would not recommend their Buffet at all.
We arrived to see the buffet. Who doesn’t a love a good buffet so we tried it. Bad decision. The food was cold, very few options and was not spiced well at all. The rice was undercooked and everything in general had a sour taste that made me question its freshness. The chicken in the butter chicken/masala was what I would describe as fake chicken / not striated or soft. It was Chewy and hard. It did not taste like delicious Indian cuisine. It was poor enough to make us get up and leave and we are hard to disappoint . The two stars are for the tall gentleman who waited on us. He was great. Please invest in good ingredients and a real Indian cook who will ensure the flavors are there.
Ordered off menu at dinner time. Food was prepared fresh and we enjoyed it at the restaurant.I'd suggest reviewing menu online to get idea of offerings and price before visiting.
Enjoyed a peaceful buffet lunch. Food was simple but yummy. Nice variety. Dal makhani, mutton Rogan gosht, gulab jamun and chutneys we're delicious. Their masala chai was perfect. Courteous staff and nice overall service.
Too expensive for such a worst quality food. Chicken was so hard that you have use knife to cut down into pieces. Biryani was too oily, feel like chicken put in fried rice.Better to try another restaurant in the area.1/16/2022- I went to this restaurant once again. Food quality was way better then last time. Specifically Mutton and Chicken gravy. You will get a feel of authentic north Indian village flavor. I am changing my rating from 2 to 4.
Excellent food. We ordered Dal Makhni, Baingan Bharta, veg biryani and naans. It was authentic Indian taste. The items are a bit pricey but the taste is top notch. The staff was very courteous . We will be back for sure.
Stopped by and was surprised to see they served a lunch buffet the other day. Wasn't too hungry so I went with a lunch special two items. I was so glad I got the Tikka chicken marsala. Absolutely on point and great. Even my daughter who is a picky eater loved the Naan with the marsala sauce. It came with another item, rice and Naan for $12.I will be back for another lunch special or buffet soon!
