They used to be great i had rated them at 5 stars for years. Portions have gotten much smaller for the same price, disappointed with last visit on April 2022, $15 for Shrimp Fried Rice and 2 house eggrolls. I used to always tell people about their quality food for decent price. But now for these portions I might as well go to Panda Express. $10 for 3 Meats and rice.
If I could give Lucky 99 zero stars, I would. We are FREQUENT customers, and usually the food is exceptional. Unfortunately, the last two times we have ordered the curry, it has been unpalatable due to a spice level that is so intense you can smell it and it burns the nose. We brought this to their attention the first time, they assured us that it is supposed to be "creamy and mild" per the menu. We trusted our favorite Chinese restaurant that this was simply a mistake. Tonight, it was HORRIBLE...AGAIN. After calling and receiving the WORST customer service, they expected us to drive (in a storm) back to the restaurant to remake it. LOLThis will be our last visit to Lucky 99. Too bad they have lost our business considering we order often enough that they know us by name.Find another place to eat, there are plenty of places in town that would love your business and this isn't one of them.

Amazing Crispy Chicken, very very good Combination Fried Rice, both with Steamed Rice have become a staple for me weekly. Thank-you Lucky 99 for being Champion-great to Frisco TX...
I’ve come to this place many times over the last 5 years or so. The lady with purple hair messes up my order every time. It’s terrible driving the food home and finding out she has forgotten my sons food for the the fourth time in 3 weeks. This will be the last time I eat here. Avoid this place if you are ordering more than one meal.
The best local restaurant in Frisco, TX. I have yet to find better customer service, food, or speed of service with any other restaurant. The owner/manager there makes me laugh every time I come in, treats me with respect, ensures my order is made just how I like it. I will always recommend Lucky 99! Do not order delivery unless directly in store. You will never get the same pricing and DoorDash will charge you more in delivery fees, on top of raising the prices of the food itself for no reason.
I ordered Pat thai last night, I noticed the price increase also the portion get smaller..not only that, while eating I kept chowing small brown rocks..horrible
We order from them quite frequently. Our orders are usually around $40-50 bucks. The last couple orders have been good except for the fact that the portions have been cut by 40%. They used to deliver, but now use StubHub and Uber eats, so I pick it up due to bad experiences with food delivery companies. If Lucky 99 wants my money, fill my food container or I'll take my money elsewhere!
