We have been several times to this place but no more. The Great Wall chicken was musty tasting, raw dough crab cakes, still fried rice, the fried half crabs were only legs, it was terrible all around. With puddles of water on the way to the restrooms. For 50 bucks I’d save the disappointment and go literally anywhere else.
- Price for weekdays dinner is $15/person- Food is okay, most of the food is super sweet.DISHES THAT I THINK THEY WERE GOOD:- Crawfish (a little small but not too bad)- Clams (good seasoning)- Fried crab (very crunchy and delicious)- Cocktail shrimps (big and fresh)- Great Wall Chicken Wings- Fried shrimps- Fruits and dessert were goodDISHES THAT I THINK THEY WERE NOT GOOD:- Sushi was very cold, the sushi rice was hard- Orange chicken was super sweet- Egg drop soup- Chicken sticks (moist but super sweet )
This place is the best buffet I've ever visited so far on any aspect. You'll feel true Asian warmness. Greetings, flowers for mother's day, a very clean place with Asian fine dining decoration and the variety of menu was amazing. Price is great considering the price hike everywhere now, you'll get a good value for money here.I found the taste of the food was also flavorful and delicious... and fresh! My fave was clam with kind of tausi(black bean sauce). Sooo authentic and rare Asian ingredient. I loved their seafod section! And loved their teapot! So exclusive.Servers and staffs? They were genuinely friendly. No rush. Always asked before taking used plates. Their initiative of refilling drinks, napkin, etc were little things that mattered. They had no hesitancy on making friendly conversation with guests esp family with young kids but in a proper and polite way. I saw them proactively preparing high chair for young kids without being asked first.During my visit with family of 5, we felt relaxed while enjoying our food and having a family conversation peacefully. Usually in a buffet like this, staffs rushed movement usually made guests uncomfortable BUT that wasn't the case at this place.Well, if anything they could improve is variety on sushi section. Hope they could provide more type of rolls because my daughter only visited sushi section in a buffet.Keep up a good work. Our new to go Buffet from now on. ?

I'm honestly extremely disappointed. I came here a long time ago and it was good but today was a different story. The food was terrible. The worst food I've ever eaten. Dry, flavorless and cold. The chicken was slightly raw. One part had a thick blood chunk. There was hair on the food, and honestly the selection was the smallest selection I've ever seen. I will say the dessert was definitely good.
I am 75 and I fell on their marble floor when I walked around the corner of a buffet counter and slipped due to what appeared to be egg drop soup on the floor. I was hurt and could not get up by myself. One of the employees saw me fall and came over to help me.The manager came over and asked if I was okay and I said no I hurt. He did not offer any medical attention but only said to give him my business card and he would pay to have my pants cleaned if I brought him a receipt.I had to stagger out of this restaurant on my own without any assistance. This is such a low class action that they did not care if I was injured or not and to ask me to bring a laundry receipt so they could reimburse me for having all their food cleaned from my slacks when my fall was their fault.I recommend anyone considering going to The Great Wall Buffet in Frisco, Texas go anywhere else because this place has zero concern for the safety and well being of their customers.I would give a zero rating but a rating of one is as low as possible.
My dine-in experience was okay. Staff was welcoming. The food selection was very subpar. You will get the basics like; fried rice, lo mein, egg rolls, beef and broccoli, crab rangoon, teriyaki chicken, etc. The area where I sat in, was surrounded by carpet, and all I got was the smell of smelly old socks. It made my dining experience unpleasant. If you've experienced various buffets, I wouldn't spend my money here during the lunch hour. The food that's offered is the same as anywhere else. Half of the food I picked up was cold to the touch. I wouldn't recommend this place for lunch.
Great food and it's a good price. You got to eat the California rolls
Been here multiple times… great food selection, fresh, clean, and great service.
Nice and clean place. Food is so good and fresh.
