Authentic Italian restaurant, amazing Chef, family owned! I ordered the” Gamberi La Casa” Shrimp with spicy marinara! It was so delicious! The Shrimp was very fresh and cooked perfectly, spicy marinara with garlic & fresh basil…the homemade sauce is delicious and full of flavor, not watery but stuck perfectly to the linguini. I will definitely bring my family and friends back here to try more amazing meals! Thank you for coming to Frisco!

Food was good, but service was exceptionally slow. I'd read reviews before going, claiming same experience, so was somewhat prepared it may be the case. However, even anticipating slower than normal service, didn't justify the lengths we waited. The place wasn't even at half capacity. Our server always seemed confused for basic requests like, another round of drinks, I'd like to order dessert, etc...So while the food was good, I won't be returning.I was in no rush, but by the time we left, I'd felt like I'd been held hostage.

Love it. Authentic Italian food with a great staff. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. For me, I always try lasagna because if an Italian restaurant can't do this right, they can't do anything right. Giovanni's knocks it out of the park. Their lasagna is awesome. The chefs care and the staff take pride in their work. Good people.

Great experience! Food and customer service is wonderful! I’ll be retuning with friends!

Called before ordering on to ask if the spaghetti with meat sauce contained dairy since we have a dairy allergy in the house. The lady who answered needed to ask the kitchen and then said it did, but we could request it without when we ordered. My nephew then when to order and pickup the order, ensuring to for dairy free spaghetti. When he got home, we quickly noticed cheese on top of the spaghetti, so I called back to ask that they make a replacement spaghetti. The same lady answered, acknowledged she took his order and remembered him asking for dairy free. She said she needed to ask the kitchen if they can make a replacement spaghetti. When she got back to the line she said they cannot. I then say, “okay, can you refund this dish?” She said “No, these dishes are made from scratch and she’s sorry.” I couldn’t believe my ears! She not only remembered my original call, nephew’s request, and their mistake, but was willing to do nothing about it. I asked to speak to a manager and she said the manager was busy.I have never received more atrocious service from a restaurant, much less an utter disregard for allergy sensitive people.

.. I had the Salmon Carciofi (artichokes) and my wife had Chicken Parmigiana ? The newly opened restaurant is close to our house and we will be definitely be back soon…

The worst experience I’ve EVER. Had at a restaurant I’ve had pretty terrible experience like any other and person, however, this one takes first place in regards to worst experience. We walk in and sit at the bar and order a house wine and water. We notice they’re busy and slow and it’s understandable, it’s a Friday in Frisco. We knew since they were slow we decided to order apps and entrees all at once so we didn’t have a longer wait. A couple walks in 15 mins after us and sits near us at the bar. They ordered their drinks and food, ate and paid before we could even get our food. When I asked the waitress that I wanted to just pay for the wine and leave, she ensured the food would be out any moment. An hour has gone by since we came in and all we’ve had are two pieces of bread, wine and water. Some more time goes by and I ask her again for the check for the wine, she said the food would be out in two minutes. Being the reasonable and patient customers we are we waited. When she came back she came back with a large paper bag with our food. As she sensed our frustration from earlier when I asked for the check. We took this as a thank you for coming but we’re happy to see you leave since you were annoyed with our slow subpar service. She then comes back with the check for $75. Almost an hour wait to dine in getting hit with a large paper bag on food and a $75 check for two pasta dishes and a app seemed insulting. I’ve eaten at some bad places and I would happily go back to those places before I come here and that’s something I don’t say lightly.

First time in and very impressed! The dishes were fresh, with a nice presentation, and tasted delicious! The service was wonderful too...Highly recommended!

I love Italian food and when I heard of Giovanni’s I thought I’d try it. It was AMAZING! I fell in love with the rigatoni la vodka. My boyfriend tried their lasagna and it was unbelievably good. Had the fortunate honor in meeting Frank as well and thanked him for putting so much love into every dish he makes! Definitely recommend this place. 5 star restaurant in my book!

I honestly think they are short staffed, I will probably change to 5 stars if so but service was fast and amazing pasta. The only thing I would say is acknowledge your guests fast (hi, be right with you) and the entire experience will improve. Otherwise I really enjoyed the pasta it was full of chicken and sauce and I'm dreaming of coming back for more!! The food 5 stars the service 4 stars but still great!!
