The food was fresh and AMAZING!!! Our table ordered the following items:•Suya platter•Gidi burger•Jollof rice•Mac and cheeseand a variety of drink…TOP TIER!It was really good and flavor food. If you are thinking about the trying them out, please do! You won’t be disappointed!
I was really excited to try out African Cuisine for the first time. However, they were short staffed. We were one of 3 people there and it took an hour to get our food. Bartender/waitress did her best considering. There was no ambience because there was no music playing on a Friday evening. The food was cold and bland when we received it.
I had the asun jollaf and it was excellent. Service was pretty slow but the food was fresh and hot.
My first time here. The food was good, we had chicken wings, fries and some girls had the sampler app. The dj was nice and kept the jams coming. It was really small not a real spot to dance. There was areas to sit but needed to buy bottles. It def didn’t fit the right atmosphere for me to buy a bottle when i can just sit in a reg chair inches away for free. The only downside to out evening was the quality of mixed drinks. They came with lots of ice in tiny cups and not filled towards the top. I would take shots or just drink beer.
We ran across Gidi Bar & Grill by accident, but we're so glad that we did! This place has a wonderful blend of foods on its West African Fusion menu. I loved the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, and my wife enjoyed the Spicy Roasted Ginger Chicken. The Jollof Rice was fantastic as well.
It's a nice Afro-American bar and grill it has lots of options with dishes including African food of course and it has a lounge area we can relax and chill it's just a nice vibe it has and have a slew of activities during the week and on the weekend also. Including karaoke on Wednesdays
Decent customer service. Bomb Jollof rice!!! However the chicken was old not fresh very disappointed. Plantains were very tasty ?! Great prices.
I attended a networking event here for the first time. It was nice pleasant and the waitress was great working with us. It is spacious with alot of distance seating. I had the chicken Irish nachos. It had chicken and fried chips. It was great. Ask for extra Buffalo sauce, it adds even more great taste!
A little disappointed when you first go in you expect to at least see some Nigerians. Me and my party spent a lot of money it was an issue the way I was dancing which should never be an issue especially when there is little to no one there. Server struggled with orders and bills the food was not bad but there was not a good selection. However we certainly stayed for the DJ he was fire and we had fun with karaoke don’t think I would put out any recommendations there is so many other places in the area to go but it was something to do on a Wednesday
I went with a group for a party and the food tasted great. It took a little while to get our orders though, but the servers were courteous. The ambiance was great and they have an area great for taking pictures!
