Man I have been to a lot of places to eat, but dang this place is off the hook! The best service I have seen in the last 5+ years! Best Italian I have had and oh my gosh that Margarita Pizza! This place should be on every ones list to try! They get 5 stars!
Such a nice and calm place. Food is 10/10. First time eating here today and I had the Buffalo chicken pizza. Just got done eating the left overs. The left overs were just as good as it was in the restaurant. Gonna have to try the pasta next time, but the food is just too good not to leave a review. Also had a lemon cake and omg it was perfect. Glad I got to eat here today.
Stumbled upon this restaurant on a 1/2 price wine night and had a great experience! Loved the Italian vibe of the decor, waiter was very attentive, food was excellent and the wine selection was great as well - Austin Hope for 1/2 price - you bet! Prices were very reasonable for the delicious generous servings you receive. They offered multiple specials that we will definitely try in the future. We will definitely make this a weekly dinner destination and highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal and ambiance.
Wow. Did not expect to walk into a candle light dinner vibe. Food was great. Staff were great. And the live musician was awesome and had a great attitude. Will definitely be coming back to this place. Thy wife also loved it.
My wife and I love this Italian restaurant! It's not too expensive, there's almost always live music, the food is great, and the service is wonderful! My wife really likes the Vicki's special, while I really like the Stromboli. If the inside area is too loud with the music or how busy it is, the outside patio is much more quiet, so you can still experience a romantic dinner with your spouse. All in all, excellent restaurant!
I joined a group of 10 friends for a birthday celebration at Eddie's, driving a long way from North Dallas, and feeling glad (and very satisfied) that I had done so. What a great value! And we had the added benefit of being able to sit on the back patio on a gorgeous Dallas late afternoon. We tasted a couple appetizers and enjoyed them immensely -- Fried Ravioli and Calamari. I added a basic tossed salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing on the side. All of the salad items were cold and crisp -- and the dressing nicely. accented them. For the main entree, my dining partner and I shared a large portion of sea-bass, baked perfectly with a crispy outside, sitting atop delicious risotto. The bites were juicy and optimally spiced. Service throughout was outstanding. My overall impression was that this meal was very high value -- reasonable prices and decent portions, many of them large enough to be split. Although it's a long way from where I live, I will try to return when I'm headed far north in the future.
Had a belated birthday dinner for our son and an early birthday dinner for myself. Food was excellent. Expected nothing less. They had live music. Will definitely go back.
This small, but nice Italian restaurant is better than a comparably priced Italian chain corporate restaurant like Carrabas, OLIVE Garden, or Macaroni Grill. From my experience, big corporate chain restaurants don't have the good homemade from scratch food that privately-owned, family owned, or other independent restaurants proudly serve. I do believe in supporting a "Mom and Pop" (non corporate chain) business whenever I get good service and value for the money. My only complaints are that the Dr Pepper from their soda fountain is not calibrated correctly, it tasted like carbonated seltzer water and not like a good soda. For every 5 ounces of cold carbonated water, there should be 1 ounce of postmix fountain syrup added for a total of 6 ounces of a certain drink, be it COKE, Sprite, Root Beer, etc. There was like ½ ounce of syrup per 5 ounces of carbonated water! To pay $3 or more for a soft drink, I want it to have the correct ratio for the right taste. Also, the toilet in the restroom is not in good repair; the chain between the rubber flapper valve and the flush handle is missing. You literally must open the toilet tank, and lift up the flapper valve manually to flush, and get your hand wet in the process. To the owner: I very much liked the food, atmosphere, music, and my server. Have a Coca Cola soda fountain technician adjust the syrup to carbonated water ratio until it's correct, if COCA COLA owns the soda fountain unit you use. Alternatively, read the owners manual to your soda fountain unit if it's a restaurant asset, and get a soda ratio test kit, and use it on a regular basis. Remember that the customer is the final inspector, and it's in your best interest to read your customer's feedback.
Food here is great and the staff are super friendly and make you feel at home.Been going here for a while and I love it.My favorite is the mixed seafood combo
