Saw some positive reviews for this place, so I decided to finally give the Texas bbq a try after moving here from North. The place looked pretty nice and clean. Ordered the double portion brisket plate. The meat was extra dry and totally tasteless. The texture was also pretty bad and the brisket actually crumbled trying to lift it with fork. The only flavor came from the bbq sauce.The plate came with a ridiculously tiny bun, which also had poor texture. Overall, the portion was small for the price too. Too over-priced for the portion or quality.
Our FAVORITE Dickey's! Molly and her staff are amazing and the food is always delicious. They treat you like family and we always have such a great experience that my 6 year wants to walk in to order, everytime. No drive through for us, lol! So glad we have delicious food and great service so close to is! Thank you. ?
The only reason I went here on a Tuesday night was because I purchased a discount on Groupon and I still feel like I was ripped off! Half a pound of brisket for $14 is incredibly expensive and it was the driest meat in the state. It was practically inedible and definitely old meat that was probably cooked the day before. I honestly don't know how they can serve this old, dry brisket to their customers. On top of the horrible brisket, the dinner rolls were about as hard as a brick. On the positive side, the Mac n cheese was quite good along with the jalapeno n cheddar sausage. Avoid their high priced brisket unless you like day old, dry meat.
We came here when the roads were still frozen last Friday. It was obvious that the store was short staffed likely because people were not going out due to the ice on the road. Staff did their best and I am just glad they were open to serve hot food while the rest of the restaurants were closed. The owner was also helping out which shows good dedication running his business.

Clean restaurant, friendly staff, and fast service. Had their special for Friday which was at a good price for the amount of food I got.

Ridiculously expensive and you don't get much for the amount you pay...I had the marinated chicken breast and 2 sides... $15?? Really?? I had okra and spinach for my sides... Okra and spinach are NOT expensive and the little roll also isn't costly... The little bit of chicken is not worth $15!!! My bill was approximately $39 for two, and I didn't even get a drink, I shared with my husband his drink!!!Despite their statement that items have risen in cost, the outrageous overcharge is overdone! Dickey's is not a a classy sit down restaurant, it's more comparable to a fast food place like Tía Rosa's or the like... And their food is not so tasty that it merits this type of charge... This was my first and last time I eat there!If you go there and don't mind that you're paying high for average-taste food... You'll eventually come out broke.... Even Cane's is better tasting and cheaper!!
Amazing staff, very helpful, great attitudes. This is a newer location closer to home and so nice to know we have an amazing BBQ restaurant that genuinely appreciates their customers! We will keep coming for sure! Way to go all!
