This place is a hidden gem in a little corner. This was my 4th visit and I am telling they never let me down. I always order goat biryani, butter chicken, samosa and garlic naan. Consistently excellent! Hands down my favorite Indian restaurant. Being a non Indian customer, I find some other Indian foods served in different restaurants a little too much fragrant for my taste but the food served at place satisfies any tastes of any culture.
My favorite place to eat Hyderabadi food in the DFW area. Every Friday evening I religiously visit with mother in law to eat mutton biryani.. not the healthiest diet but I spend the rest of the week in the gym burning off the biryani. Prathiba and Mounica offer the best service and know how to smack down unruly customers.

The first time I ordered mutton biryani was good but second time around the meat was not good. Mutton was not tender. Need to maintain consistency.
The food is so amazing and fresh! I got the chicken curry. It was the perfect amount of spices. Everyone is super nice here. We will be back!

My wife ordered beer biryani from here to go, and when she arrive home she found only a small piece of beef. I call them to file complaint. the lady on phone asked a bunch of questions and in the end said it wasn't a big deal because it was only $12 biryani plate. Rather than apologize, she said "it happens, it's not a big deal." I'm not going to drive all the way here only for bad quality and bad service.
Food is great, delicious and authentic, the problem is we showed up at 9:00 the food was on the table by 9:30 and the lady said we have 10 minutes because they close at 9:40 we started eating fast just to help her out hours on google says closing at 10pm and here we are rushing through the meal and at 9:45 comes back again as we are cleaning up and says sir we are closed, i said I understand we are cleaning up..Customer service 101:- this is unethical and unprofessional and it’s probably the owner don’t pay employees past 10 then they do that with their customers..I love the food but this time I was so rushed I couldn’t even enjoy it, i shouldn’t even tipped.Next we went to big dash next door and the lady came to me asking if I need to order anything before they close the cash. And she asked every customer, we stayed until we finished nobody kicked us out.I’ll be surprised if Deccan will stay in business with the amount of bad reviewsThanks
