Not really an early riser, so I tend to miss breakfast. That said, one early morning, I just stumbled upon this gem by happenstance. Boy, was it the most serendipitous thing that ever happened to me. The food was ah-maz-ing!! I grabbed an Egg Saint and let me tell you this, it was definitely a saint, because it took me right to heaven. The eggs are cooked to perfect temperature, nice and creamy, not like the typical dried-out diner eggs. Also, I ordered a Vietnamese coffee which admittedly, didn’t taste true to an authentic Vietnamese coffee, which is usually darker/richer, but it was still delicious. The ambience was nice. Could use a little more decor to cozy it up a bit, but I believe they’re still adding more to it. All-in-all, would I recommend? HECK YES!!! Don’t hide your wife/husband and kids, but show them here instead. They will love you unconditionally. I’m definitely coming back to try their almond croissant. I was tempted to buy it, but a man can only eat so many pastries in the morning.Like Arnold, I’ll be back…
We just tried Daily Grinds for the first time and everything was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be returning! We had the chorizo omelet, berry danish, Vietnamese iced coffee and the ham & cheese croissant (I added egg, bacon, arugula and aioli). So good!
Superb coffee, excellent pastry selection! I highly recommend getting coffee here!I love trying out coffee shops wherever I may be- this one is certainly top notch!Their pastries look amazing, they have a solid selection of breakfast items, the staff was helpful!I love the ambience of this place! The only drawback is the seating is a little limited.Highly recommend you try this place!
We visited this location twice in last few months, and were lucky to have their almond croissants - which btw are so delicious. Me and husband both tried their americano, I tried their small size and husband tried their large size but apparently their large is kinda extra large - it's almost 20oz. Make sure to ask the barista for the exact size of the cup before buying. Located in a lovely area in Frisco, definitely a visit worthwhile to try their coffee and almond croissant combo.
Yes get the cheese burger! This is a nice quiet spot, nice vibe, great cold brew. Have already been back. Almost, don't want to get the word out on this gem. Great pastries too.
The Daily Grind is a symphony of Pastry beauty meets caffeine!A simple coffee shop offering classic beverages from cappuccino to London Fog with a sprinkle of pastries and sandwiches.I had scrambled eggs and bacon, although doesn't seem like much, but of often butchered!! The eggs were well seasoned and soft scrambled just the way I like them(most places I have to ask for runny scrambled eggs and pray to the Almighty they stumble upon a decent soft scramble). For my beverage I had a Dirty Chai that was well balanced and the perfect sweet and strong (like I like my men ?The girls had a combination of Blueberry Scones, Chocolate Croissant, that had enough layers to make you dizzy, and breakfast sandwiches. Rounded out with Hot Chocolate, London Fog, Vanilla Latte, and Cappuccino.Staff was attentive without being invasive and was ready to make suggestions if your not sure which delicious way to go.Do yourself a favor, and SLIDE THROUGH!
First time here. I ordered a medium hot chocolate which was amazing and came out really good. The place is really clean and nice. However I had my headphones in but had turned the music off while I was waiting/ordering and heard the girl who was making my hot chocolate ask the cashier if she was sure my order was togo and she told her yes. I don't think she knew I could hear her because she looked at me and smiled after she said that to the girl making my drink.Well it wasn't to go because I was stopping here to drink my hot chocolate, do some paperwork for minute, and then go to my shift. I mean I wasn't asked if I was ordering to go or not.The lady after me who ordered her hot drink and sat down got her drink in an actual mug and was served at the table she was sitting. Which is fine.Just that whole thing felt a little off. Almost like the cashier didn't want me sitting in and drinking my drink? Idk that's just how it came off to me. Regardless the drink was amazing and much better than other coffee places I've been to so I'll be back when I have work in this area.
We went to try this coffee place this morning. We did enjoy the blueberry scone and the Cold Vietnamese Coffee !
This place has the best pastries outside of Paris. Really delicious!! The shop is clean and has a nice vibe. You won’t go wrong with this place. One tip: call early (8:30 AM) and put your croissants on hold. They sell out fast.
Im a self confessed croissant fiend and am known to drive miles for that right croissant and coffee, constantly comparing them to the quality in Paris. The best I have had so far in DFW was at the Village Bakery, in downtown until I discovered this hidden gem in my neck of the woods. The plain croissants were crisp, airy, fresh and done just right. The almond croissant was another delight to bite into. I couldn't be more delighted and thrilled to have discovered the Daily Grind and their baked goods. Go, enjoy!
