Don’t ever order from online. My recommendation is to experience the food what they serve first. Curries is full of oil, you won’t see the vegetables because it completely dipped in oil. Rice, has oil in it, not just a bit, you can feel it by touch. Chapati, is not Indian style at all. Big NO. We missed to take the pictures but TRUST this review and think twice. We never waste food, but we had to leave it because of its too much oil. They don’t care about customer experience too, even if you inform them. She just walked out when we told about our worst experience. Worst ever experience!
Walked in and ordered food a couple of times, first time I ordered Biryani togo waited for almost an hour. And second time I ordered dosas and other breakfast stuff waited in my car for 20 mins and I came back the person at the front desk was like it might take time. I came back after 20 mins again she was like it’ll still take time. It was almost an hour of waiting just for 2 orders of idly and dosas. And then then she says the order was not confirmed in the kitchen(the payment was completed at the time of placing order). And the worst part is she didn’t attempt to check the status of the order. She was I can refund. We know you can refund. We expected service not refund. Kindly work on improving your service and efficient staffing.
We are group of 4 . The experience was not great . We ordered royala(shrimp) vepudu. But we got shrimp curry which was not cooked well .when we asked the staff about this and they replied that was the nature of the shrimp to stay raw and not being well cooked. We got a chicken appetizer as a compensation which even taste bad.we ordered ulavacharu mutton biryani where we didn’t find ulavacharu in it also tastes bad.please try to rectify these and make it better.
The food was very spicy . They do not know how to make it Mild . Lips tongue stomach all burnsTaste was soo good but due to spice level could not eat . Those who can tolerate hot chili it’s a good place to order . When u ask for mild upfront they say they cannot . So …..
Not ordering anymore. The rice is almost always good. The curries change so much, u never know what you're getting. And cheese dosa. They are incapable. I found a place who can.
We ordered from here on Uber Eats. This is not Naan. This is a flour tortilla, that has been grilled. It was stale, and disgusting. We put our order through, and we received ZERO white rice (even though we made it a choice in the app), and THIS is their version of “garlic naan”. Please don’t order from them, and be disappointed like we were. This isn’t garlic naan. This is a burnt, stale, flour tortilla with NOTHING on it. Please don’t make our mistake and ever order $55 worth of food to receive this.
Was our first time here, as we wanted to go off the beaten track and try something new. Had heard about this place with my friend, and since we were born in South India wanted to reminisce the old days. The staff are little bit arrogant, not polite and obedient; the interiors have been decked really well, but the floor was not clean, it’s smells in a bad way, that’s what I don’t like regarding the infrastructure. We went crazy on the appetizer first:Chicken 65: It was very goodLater on, we went to the main course:Vijayawada biryani: One of the must try items at Curry’s and craving’s is the Vijayawada Special Boneless Chicken Biryani. You can taste the different flavour’s, rice cooked to perfection and the chicken mouth-watering. Huge portion and nicely priced. Undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant in the Texas area I have tried so far. Thoroughly enjoyed. To close the dinner, we chose to try curd rice, but they said it was not available, we really felt incomplete without it.The place is super crazy, irresponsive staff, and prices are very reasonable. which we didn’t feel was too bad.In an overview I conclude that Curries and cravings signature dish was Vijayawada biryani and, which everyone should make a try. This experience has made us want to go for the weekend biryani night next.
The service the atmosphere are not so welcoming and warm. Whenever we want to go somewhere for dinner Bawarchi is always our first choice. But when we thought to try somewhat new, my friend suggested about this Curries and Craving the best option for biryani’s. We got the chicken dhum biryani which is yummy , butter naan, chicken fry, and for starters the chicken 65 and chili chicken are amazing! .
Highlighting the worst experience ever...Chicken Dum Biryani was stale and seemingly spiced up to hide...the smell! Chicken 555...who invented it? i kept on wondering until i finished 2 pieces and trashed it. Atleast be good at something with customer service... went by the suggestion of the cashier ????to to order food...
Visited this restaurant few times. Food quality is never consistent as indicated in other reviews. My breaking point is that Biryani was spoiled after few hours of take out. I will NEVER visit this restaurant again !!!If you keep providing stale food and if something happens, you will get sued. If you cannot maintain food quality, simply close the restaurant and do something else.
