Wow. Where have I been. This place is great, the food is spectacular, and the staff is genuine. I walked in 15 minutes before close after an extremely hard day and searched google for mashed potatoes. I was craving comfort food after a death in the family left me pretty sad. These folks didn’t know my story but they had a smile on their face and served me like I was the first guest of the day. That truly made me feel so much better. The chicken was on fire and then I added a little of that hot sauce and wow! Great job ! ! Thank you.
The wood fired rotisserie chicken is very good. Side dishes are good in theory, but are more oily and greasy than I care for. It would be nice if they offered healthier sides (e.g. steamed veggies) to pair with that great chicken. Prices are fair.I placed two orders one for dine in and one to go. They brought both dinners in to go cartons instead my dine in order served on a plate.
Sadly ordered in person, I should have checked my order, because both dinner plates had dried, burnt chicken.I mean chewy leathery un-edible. Now I know why my order was ready - so fast- I wont leave the restaurant without checking my order, I highly recommend you consider my experience- check the food before leaving. Last thing any of us wants is jerky.
So good! Lunch special is such a good deal!!! 7 bucks for chicken, side and a fabulous bun!!We would be back again and again if I lived here.They also have banana pudding!!
Chicken is dry. Roll is cold. Spanish rice is hard as a rock, must have been the layer on top and been cooking all day. 1/10 will not be returning to a Cowboy Chicken ever again.
I ate at the Frisco Texas location. Generally it is good. Today the 1/4 white was way over cooked, i got about 10 lil okra pods, salad was to brown to eat and the roll was stale and cold. What happened to their quality.
Sad to write this review.. we ordered a Christmas Eve dinner today and sadly disappointed! We didn’t get our rolls, the fries look DEAD, and we didn’t get sauce. Y’all should’ve just closed for today if you weren’t going to provide good service food!
Whoa mama!!First visit. Other than quick service everything else was 100%.Chicken was cut for us in perfect pcs. Both white n dark were moist and tasty.Sides....yuuum!!: corn bread dressing, Mexican corn, Mac n chz and OMG! the mashed potatoes.The drinks....try them all!! I did.. Couldn't decide which was the best but that jalapeño lemonade was fantastic. The cowboy sauce was different from anything I've tasted...finger licking good!

Do not get the brisket plate @ Cowboy chicken! I learned my lesson the hard way. Brisket was a lump of dried crisp strings of what appeared to be some semblance of meat. The sides were rice and beans. Rice was cold, but both tasted ok. I'll stick with chicken if I return to this place.
