Food - 4/5Service - 4/5Ambience -5/5Live counters stole the show.Service was good . The space could be more between the buffets .More non veg options than vegLoved the south indian breakfast .
Went here today for the first time. Their AD came up on my Facebook on several occasions and we wanted to try it out for a while. So we finally thought we'd give them a try today. We went there for their dinner buffet on this Mother's Day. The food was great and the waiting staff was really good as well. Our waiter (Sai Kumar) was very attentive to our table and every time we had 1 plate that was done with, he would take it away very promptly. On a few occasions when I would discard our trash (to make it easier for them), he, with a smile, would persist that we are his guests and that they are the ones that should take care of the trash. For dessert, they had 5 choices, and the main buffet stands was divided into a vegetarian side and a non-vegetarian side, with the condiments in between. They had a complete pani-poori stand with a staff member filing the pani-poori with the bhaji, as well as a dosa/masala dosa stand and an appam stand, that have staff cooking them on a made to order basis. They also have Mango Lassi and Tea (with milk) available in dispensers. We really liked the food and the variety of choices available. My kids loved the food too (especially the Mango Lassi). They ate so well that, after eating they didn't have room for ice cream. Chennai-Café was really busy today and was probably packed at 100% capacity, and whether it be the food in the buffet table being revolted properly, the empty plates available to use, or the waiters removing the used plates from your table, they seemed to have everything under control. We were very happy with the experience we had even after driving 30 minutes to get there. If you plan to go for a dinner buffet, I suggest you reach there at 6 pm (when they re-open for dinner) to get better parking and because you can also beat the rush of people, because they will be very full. We'll definitely be back. I would normally give a review like this 5 STARS, but it was really hot in the restaurant, and it seemed that the AC was off, so, to maintain honesty and integrity on my reviews, I need to take away 1 star. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 4 STARS FROM ME !!
Had their food at a privately catered party. It was very good. Look at all the reviews written for the food quality & the service at the restaurant. Mostly those written more than 2 years ago were 4 & 5 stars while the recent ones are 1 or maybe 2 stars. It tells me that their quality & service has taken a hit. The present owners should take note.
Went to this restaurant on Sankranthi(pongal) festival. They had a buffet and the number of items and food was good. Their appam was tasty and other dishes tasted good too. Ordered the thali second time for carryout this time. The food was ok but not so tasty as first time. The price looks bit higher specially for thali carryout. This place is busy and had to wait for about 30 mins outside after the scheduled pickup time. Overall, I would recommened to try this restaurant once
A very good South Indian buffet option if you are looking to taste few breakfast options and some main course options. Not great for vegetarians and place always has some funny smell. Would go there may be once a year not great for regular visit or with big family. Price point is also high at $18-$20/person on weekends and $14-$16/person on weekdays.

I went for a weekend Buffet. Food is delicious and served hot. they have good spread of south Indian food and breakfast. They have plenty of options to choose both in main course and deserts.
Yesterday it was bad experience to go for dinner at Chennai cafe, Frisco. We Five families decided to go for dinner but the experience was terrible. Buffet items like veg and non veg dishes were not refilled on timely manner, each person had to visit buffets serving area multiple times to check if trays are refilled… focus to sit back, relax and enjoy the food turned into rather opposite.. focus on servers if they are bringing any refill trays.. completely spoiled the mood of everyone. We told front counter several times but it was unheard. It was funny when we were paying our bills to girls at the register, we casually asked that are you going to give discount due to pathetic service, empty trays.. and not to our surprise they mentioned no Sir.. we can’t..it does not matter food was there or not.. you have to PAY I guess restaurant owner standing on side heard our conversation, went inside and came with kitchen manager.. he did acknowledge our concerns but manager was trying to prove 16 folks wrong stating I saw few taking food items in our plates.. ? Well.. what else we came here for was the response from one of my friend.. what we want is not there.. chicken from butter chicken went for duck hunting.. tandoori chicken did not wanted to walk from tandoor to come to tray.. trust me.. on the table rather than any other conversation we were having discussion on other restaurants and services.. and bad option we picked for the night… By the way, we did get discount and you know what was that… since we were party of 16 folks.. Therefore extra service charge to serve us was waived ?? ( hello it was buffet, no one even came to take away dirty plates, we were told to put on empty table next to ours) Again hoping to get better experience please do not disappoint your customers…. And yes, do not add raw onions into pani puri ??
Ambience of the cafe is awesome.Food is tasty and neat, the staffs are very polite.
