Great spot! It passed my Mexican restaurant test: Good margaritas, good chips and salsa, and great food. I had the chicken sampler and was blown away by how tasty it was. I even loved the leftovers when I had them for lunch the next day! Highly recommend.
Food and service are good. The only complaint I have is that whenever I walk in the front door I can smell a strong odor of fabreez or some air freshener in that vicinity. Even the tables close the door are affected so I always ask to be seated far from the door area.I did mention it to the hostess at one point, but it's still the same.
First visit there, probably not the last. My chicken quesadilla was delicious and my husband's enchiladas were great too! Another guest had the puffed tacos and they looked excellent.
I came here because I heard super nate and famous Jay might be here. No celebrities this time. But the salsa was good and they wait wasn't long.
Very good Tex Mex cuisine! The chips and salsa are excellent. The top shelf margarita was really good! We started with the white queso, and it was delicious. My wife had the pork tamale with enchiladas which she said was very good. She said the lentils were a real nice change from standard beans. I had the tacos Al Carbon. The steak in the tacos was marinated and cooked to perfection. This will be our regular Mexican spot. Service was great too.
So I ordered food to go and the prices for side dishes are ridiculous for the portion. I should of gone to other Mexican restaurant. Its not even a pint !!!! I know inflation is bad but come on... Below are the prices for these small containers (used the soap dispenser as reference)Charro Beans-> 7.50Refried Beans->5.50Rice->5.50
CasaMia is conveniently located on Rolator and Hillcrest in Frisco, TX. They are the only Mexican restaurant, and one of the only sit-down restaurants in this area. The food is always great, the staff is always friendly. They’ve added a small patio which makes it a great place to hang out with friends if you don’t want to drive far.
I order via Uber Eats. Their street tacos and green sauce is just about legit as the ones in Mexican area downtown Dallas Lombardy lane. As close as I’ve found around here anyways. Love their puff tacos too. Really good stuff.
Why don't they answer the phone for pick orders?Three days in a row, what a shame ! Because of this I found Ernesto on Preston and Main def going back !Though quite bland and the kitchen like to top everything with the same cheese sauce I do like the meals. FYI: If you get someone to answer the phone take out portions are much smaller . Also the price for rice and beans obv is quite silly . If you are looking for street tacos go to Suprema Market with its small Mexican restaurant in the back for tacos & tortas.
Nice place for lunch or dinner. Good portion of meal for one person. Its tasty and delicious
