Friendly, fun environment, service was excellent. The was tasty and just what I liked . Amazing experience.
I do not typically make restaurant review however….today. We went here to have dinner, my kiddo got crawfish and I got steak with corn on the cob /broccoli as the sides. They completely overcooked my steak, they offered to make a new one and it was just as bad. The COC was old and cold. It was the absolute worst meal that I’ve had in a long time. The restaurant was very hot (for over 3 weeks now per server). My daughter went to bathroom to wash her hands and the bathroom smelled disgusting as they are also having plumbing issues per the manager. There really is NO EXCUSE…..???
We ordered crawfish etouffee and fried oysters. The etouffee was marvelous, buttery, flavorful, smooth and filled with mudbugs cooked well. I had never, in 50 years, see oysters the size of my thumbnail, either that I have caught & cooked, or that I have been served. Sadly, these oysters were overcooked and were crunchy, with a burned taste, though the French fries were fine. I noticed the wait person gave my oysters the stink eye when she laid down the plate. She also did not ask me about my food. She knew. The music & atmosphere were fine, but avoid the oysters. We won't return
Food was pretty good. Seasoned well. I didn't like that my trout & shrimp meal had imitation crab in the sauce. Unacceptable.

Food is super delicious and extremely large portions. I recommend you come on an empty stomach, the corn bread with cinnamon butter, French fries and onion rings are also a home run.
First time here and I will be back! I loved the vibe. They had live entertainment which was cool. Wasnt expecting that. The place was pretty packed but we didn't have to wait because we sat in the bar area. The bar staff was attentive even though they were extremely busy. The food was delicious and it was served really quick. I highly recommend checking this restaurant out!

This place is a place you don’t want to pass up on! I have been living in friendswood for over 4 years and I remember when this place came in. I stop by yesterday for the first time (3/22/2022) and had to come back today(3/23/2022)! Each time we had a wonder waiter name Chauncey! He was attentive, very helpful with our orders, and made the overall swamp shack experience unforgettable! I highly recommend him when you come in! Swamp shack keep doing what you are doing the spicy boils are delicious and a trip worth coming back for! The drinks will also leave you just right!
Brought the family in after a busy shopping trip and wanted to try a new sea food restaurant. Our server Chauncey B. was very attentive and kind. 10/10 food and service!
