This place is a staple. They have Kolaches and they're ok but my go to is the original glazed. I just need one. A go to every time I'm in town.
When I’m in Texas I visit shipleys every single day because they are that amazing! Fresh like you couldn’t imagine! My go to favorites are chocolate filled, white sugar (glazed then powdered) classic glazed, strawberry iced, apple fritters and devils food! Oh also the jalapeño Kolache is my fav!
Their donust are always fresh and the staff is so friendly!
OLD ICE COLD Donuts served daily!, deserves 0 stars, manager (Montse) is not available until Noon? I placed an order 1hr earlier for 7:30AM pick-up and I was told Donuts are made fresh on the phone, when I got there they had my 3 dozen boxes wide open on counter for everyone to breathe on and the temperature of donuts where ICE Cold, donuts tasted BLAND. I told the servers and they just laughed and said "we make these Donuts at 4am and what do you expect" they are fresh, I asked her why all boxes of my order were left on counter in an open box, she said "oh I don't know", I even translated the whole conversation in Spanish and she still told me the same story and then thought it was funny and passed the phone to her co-worker so I had to explain myself 2x, what a waste, do yourself a favor and drive extra miles to the next Shipley's in the next town over, $30 for Donuts OLD and ICE Cold, I'm better off buying them in frozen section at Kroger's, NO MANAGER on duty to resolve poor service and bad quality.
The best Shipleys I've ever been to hands down. They always seem to have the kolache's hot and fresh. Not to mention the hot glazed is always on point.
I have always had good donuts and kolaches at this location. The bread on the kolache is soft and perfect. The bullseye donut is delicious and has a lot of cream in the middle (Pearland location puts a donut hole in the middle and less cream- cheaper I guess).

I love Shipley's! Customer of 30+ years and I stop in when I'm in town. This visit the do-nuts have shrunk...6 more could've easily fit in the dozen box with the 12 others. They now only have 1 size kolache. It was hard and dry on the ends with a very small bit of cheese and one jalapeno inside. Come on Shipley's your better than that.
Customer for long time, today not the greatest experience. The man preparing the food in the back wasn’t wearing any gloves. The glazed donuts were re-warmed from I guess yesterday. Thirty minutes after just opening there were only five kaloches.
Love this place. Large selection of everything I like.
