I will continue to write good reviews of this place every time I come here! Being greeted with a smile and being thanked for coming is a very appreciated. Good food that always seems to come out fast from the kitchen is a big plus. If you haven’t given this restaurant a chance yet, be sure to soon! Good stuff, good people.
We eat at Rancho's on a regular basis. The food is always consistent, always good, and always fresh. Love the owner, who's very community-minded. Large place, so we can always get a table quickly. Good service, good prices. Highly recommend!
We eat here almost weekly! My two teenage boys and husband love Mexican food and this is their favorite local option. Love the salsa. Fajitas are a favorite and their sweet and sour salad is one of my favorite dishes anywhere. Great atmosphere and the owner is very active in our community.
What a Margarita list! I'll go back just to try all of the different of Margarita's. The Tortilla soup was excellent. we were there on Taco Tuesday so also tried the tacos...they were okay. I'll come back to try the fish tacos.
We eat at Rancho's frequently. Love the staff and food. Mr Nunez always makes a point to come out and speak to everyone.
this place is great if you have not been you should great service and food
My Wife and I go fairly often to Ranch Mexican Grill, but not as often now that Rancho has moved to its new location (which is a little less convenient to our house than the older, smaller, and sometimes, noisier, "old" location near the corner of busy FM 518 and FM 528). We should go to Rancho much more often. Our most recent visit, on a pretty busy New Year's Eve showed that Rancho has settled in well to the new location (on FM 528 towards Alvin). Despite nearly a full house, Rancho service has improved to the quick speed that was characteristic of the old (and smaller) location. Now the restaurant is roomier and more modern, and the room(s) are more open and clearer. TV's line every outer wall, and are clearly visible yet are not obtrusive or noisy. However, if I want to watch TV, I'll go home to my comfy recliner; for good food and a welcoming atmosphere, I'll go to a nice restaurant like Rancho Mexican Grill. The food on the menu remains pretty much the same as at the old location (though, sadly, the prices are a little higher) and all of our favorite menu items taste great. The owner, Tony Nunez, is almost always somewhere near the door to greet and welcome Rancho patrons and his smile and welcome are infectious. On our most recent visit, he even entertained his guests with a guitar serenade. Rancho always supports all the local teams and charities. We suggest that all of the local area support and patronize Rancho Mexican Grill. We will!
I think I would prefer Taco Cabana over this place. Went for lunch and ordered cheese enchiladas, which came out rather quickly, less that 10 minute. They were over microwaved, and you could tell they were prepared in advanced or at least they tasted like they were.
I’ll start with this - the service was excellent, no complaints there. BUT.....the food was very bland. Maybe we’re spoiled with all the really good Mexican food places around, but nothing on my Acapulco combo plate stood out.
We love our Rancho's! Yummy food. Affordable and the owner Tony is fabulous. HE does so much for our community in support. And the new building is such a nice addition to Friendswood.
