My family of 4 has been long time customers of Perry's.We have all basically ordered the same steak meals twice a month as takeout orders.However, this month a major price difference occurred that I found quite disturbing.My family ordered the same steak meals on a Wednesday and then, again, on a Friday.When I picked up the order on Wednesday the cost was $177.When I picked up the order on Friday the cost was $224.Again, the exact same steak orders on Wednesday and Friday.I called and spoke to the Manager about the significant price difference and the explanation was a price increase approximately 6 months ago.That made absolutely no sense at all.The Manager could not explain the almost $50 increase from Wednesday's order to Friday's order.I even looked at my past credit card bills and no significant price increase.Also, all 4 steaks were to be cooked to a medium temperature.All 4 steaks were cooked well done.Extremely Disappointing!Simply put, Perry's Manager should have been able to give a logical explanation for the price difference in a 2 day period.As well as, give an explanation as to why the customer did not receive all 4 steaks cooked properly.That is what is most upsetting - No Answer!!!Whomever oversees the Perry's location in Friendswood really needs to have qualified Managers, qualified cooks, and review at their prices.Perry's has lost a family of 4 as long time customers.
I've heard of this place through the grapevine. I ignored it as I feel fine dining and upscale eateries are not as good as the hype that follows them. Everyone kept telling me about a porkchop so famous, you will never forget it, and there will never be anything like it. Intrigued, I bit the financial bullet and gave it a try. I rushed home to dig into my pickup order as I wanted it at its peak freshness. I opened the take out container and saw this massive hunk of pork that reminded me of that ending credits scene from the old Flintstones cartoon with the massive rack of meat that tips the car over. All jokes aside, I took this beast on and it was an experience. Okay, I get it. I see why people love this entree. So flavourful, so tender, so succelent, so filling. This will take another day or two to finish but unlike other upscale establishments, you get your money's worth. You win Perry's. You're absolutely delicious and unforgettable. I'm sorry I've ignored you up until now. I shan't make that mistake again.

Ordered the seafood stuffed mushrooms and they arrived lukewarm along with the fresh bread. Never had a bad experience with this location before so I was quite surprised. I informed the server about the mushrooms and it was taken off my ticket which was professional and great service.The chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy arrived piping hot and tasted absolutely perfect.
Steaks are always wonderful! Chris Made it right tonight when my steak was off, it was nothing the chef did, nothing the owners did, nothing the managers did, it was just an off cut of meat. It smelled wonderful, and my Son and Boyfriends steaks were as usual tender and seasoned to perfection. I tried to tell our wonderful waitress and the manager,…Chris, everything was great, it was just something with that one piece of meat. 10 oz, of smell wonderful, grilled to perfection steak, that was just not like the others I have had that my knife usually slid through like butter. I am a faithful customer and will be back. This place is wonderful!
My husband And I go often We are never disappointed!! The food is excellent as well as the servers!! Can't wait to go again!! One of my favorite places for sure!!
excellent dining experience. attentive service, food was amazing ! our family shared the mozzarella sticks which were probably the best I've ever had. our entrées included the bacon wrapped filet which was seasoned and cooked perfectly, the tilapia & a juicy honey chicken sandwich. the deserts were too good to pass up, so we took a triple chocolate mousse cake home. Perry & Sons in Friendswood is a great place for a family meal or a special occasion. I also recommend their meat market, I try to shop local butcher shops anytime I can.
I have to say - this was the best steak I have ever had in Texas. Service was phenomenal and everything we tried was too. This is probably my new favorite restaurant in Houston and I cannot wait to return here.
I have gone to this Perrys for years and its my favorite. Excellant steaks and service. The other locations also have great steaks, but the service is best at this location. Very attentive and friendly staff, no matter how busy.
